Meat had the reverse DDT as his finisher that he called The Meat Grinder the one or two times he won a bout.
Don't know if he had any finishers during his time as Planet Stasiak

I'm still watching Prime Time Wrestling episodes from 1986. Among the things I've learned from watching these episodes is, noted 1980's jobbers Jose Luis Rivera and SD Jones both had finishers. Rivera used a dropkick from the middle rope to beat Mr X and SD used a jumping headbutt to beat Moondog Spot. SD literally jumped about 5 inches into the air and headbutted Spot. That was the finish.
Has anyone mentioned that Virgil used to use the Million Dollar Dream? Then after the Dibiase feud when he'd rarely win it'd be with a Russian Leg Sweep. But when he went to WCW he started using the MDD again when he'd get the very rare win on a weekend show.

Andre I remember never really had a known or named finisher that was hyped until the very end of his career when he started using an elbow drop. Before then I think a lot of his pinfall wins were by sit down splash, but I dont remember it being his official finishing move
I dont think Piper ever had an official finishing move either though I always assumed it was the sleeper

I think Pete Gas had one called the Gas Mask, no idea what it was. It was a similar to the Baldo Bomb, and it was called the gas mask because he put his hand over your face like a gas mask. Rodney also had a finisher, High Society, which was basically just Buff Bagwell's Buff Blockbuster.
It's belioeve basically the Gallows Pole they also had a double team finisher called the stock exchange.

If it means anything, Andre's finisher in Fire Pro games is indeed the elbow drop.

I want a jobber to be in position to win but can't remember his finisher because he's never gotten to use it before. I remember a time when Disco Inferno was going to debut a new finisher, and had to bring a diagram with him to the ring to remind him how to apply it. I was expecting the "finisher" to be an iron bar that the diagram was rolled around... sadly that never happened. Probably already mentioned, but Disco's original finisher was a figure four called "The Last Dance". He could never figure out how to apply it. Great gimmick.

Berzerker who primarily won via countout would use a stun gun against guys like Virgil and Koko

Young Andre actually used the Tombstone in Japan. The WWE credited the Butterfly Suplex as his finisher because that how he beat Hogan for the belt.

I would think so, yeah. I think it only really became popular in the early '90s. I'm sure Andre would have been all for using it if it was known to him, it would have probably taken some strain off of his body.
