Like the wrestlers still being in [X] company unexpectedly, but with, everything else.
I got the thought from listening to It Was A Thing On TV's review of the 1987 Macy's Thanksgiving Parade, where they marvel on how Cabbage Patch Kids were still a thing by then.

I always remembered the TMNT animated show ending in the early 90s. Finding out as an adult that it went to 1996 with stuff like the Red Sky seasons and Lord Dregg was bewildering. Turtles fell off so hard after 1993 in the broader consciousness that even pop culture osmosis didn't allow me to be aware of the show passed that point.

The Marvel comic Millie the Model (started in the late 40s) lasted well through the creation of the Marvel Universe, the last issue came out in 1973, by which time Marvel was otherwise almost entirely superheroes or at least fantasy adventure like Conan.

And for some people I'm sure that what knocked the Turtles off that, Power Rangers, had a similar reaction of it still going as it did.

Family Guy still hanging around despite losing 90% of its audience continues to surprise me. South Park, too, though I imagine it being dirt cheap to make helps.

I blame Vanilla Ice's cameo for tmnt's fall off a cliff.

MySpace is still a thing…17 years after it’s popularity hit it’s peak and Facebook overtook it as THE social media site.

I was at a phone store the other day, flip phones are still a thing. I just got rid of mine earlier this year. But companies like Lively still make and market flip pjones to older folks. When I got my flip phone 4 years ago they had to search all thru the Verizon store to find one. And then it cost me 150 bucks. Could have gotten a smart phone for less.
