Warriors of Virtue II
Yes they made a sequel. IIRC the warrirors get changed into humans early on. I guess to save money. Betting this was DTV.

I remember my older sister was a big Judy Blume fan and watching a made for tv Fudge-o-Mania and quite liking it as a child.
I also remember a made for tv Problem Child 3 with the same kid that was the president's kid in First Kid with Sinbad. It was horrible.

I know it’s got its fans, everything does, but you know that one weird ass experimental horror “Begotten”? Didn’t do much for me.
It’s a bit….age-inappropriate to put it mildly. Definitely an acquired taste, in *all* senses.

Begotten is a film like Trash Humpers or Slaughter Vomit Dolls. Films that if you are into cult cinema you have at least heard of.
But if all you watch is mainstream cinema then yea they are obscure.
Anyways added a few movies to my myst see list. Had no idea G-men from Hell existed.

Hercules In New York, a 1970 movie which is the very first feature film appearance of a fella known as Arnold Schwarzenegger. He plays the mythical hero, leaving the heavens to go and live on Earth. That's such a ridiculous premise that I'm surprised the movie isn't more famous (or infamous.) It's pretty funny too.

And one where it is Arnold's voice. Few years back there was a Blu ray set released of a pile of Arnold films. Hercules in New York aka Hercules goes bananas is on that one. Pretty sure it is the non Arnold voice version.

I don't know anyone that has seen Attack of the 50 Foot Woman. It's a black and white science fiction/drama film. Been a bit but seen it a few times. Once at a drive in as part of a triple feature. And later on as a vhs rental. One that use to fit this ,but thanks to Vinger Syndrome it is better known,is the mid 90s Neo Noire film Red Rock West. Nick Cage is a drifter that ends up mistaken for a hitman hired to kill a battered woman's asshole husband. One of the many Neo Noire films made in the wake of Pulp Fiction being a hit. And this one is actually good. The VHS wasn't that easy to find. The DVD was one of those late 90s GOODTIMES releases. So 4:3 and long out of print. Now the VS Blu Ray limited edition is sold out. Red Rock West came out before Pulp Fiction. It also got a Blu Ray release in Australia last year, which I just borrowed of a mate of mine.

Yea I was looking it up last night ,came out in 93 and pulp was what 94. It so felt like all those PF inspired Crime movies of that era. Things to do in denver when you are dead, the gun in betty lou's handbag and many others. I am really tempted to get the 4k release. But might just get the standard Blu ray cause it is way cheaper. Do you know if that Australian Blu is region locked?

"Heartbeeps", 80s comedy in a sci-fi future, two robots fall in love and run away to start a 'real' life together. Stars Andy Kaufman and Bernadette Peters. Also had the 'escaped rampaging Venus probe' from TVs "Six Million Dollar Man" as the police robot chasing the love-bots.
"Goin' Coconuts", 70s comedy starring Donny and Marie Osmond as themselves. In Hawaii for a show, Marie is being chased because someone gave her a stolen necklace. Also has Herb Edelman (Bea Arthur's ex in "Golden Girls"), Ted "Lurch" Cassidy, and Harold "Oddjob" Sakata.
"The Taking Of Beverly Hills", early 90s action. A tanker truck of toxic waste is routed through Beverly Hills and crashes, forcing an evacuation. But the crash is a hoax, cover for a heist to loot BH. Aging football player is left behind and uncovers the truth. Stars Ken Wahl and Matt Frewer ("Max Headroom") as a cop with a conscience.

Anyone seen The Dark Side of the Moon? It's a low budget sci-fi horror movie. Caught it late one night on some channel about 30+ years ago, and it lived on in my memory. Tried asking about it on the Bay of Pirates and got only "Huh?" responses. Finally, someone made a significant cultural servive and uploaded it on the 'Tube. It's not good, but I still enjoy it. No, it's not freakin' Pink Floyd.

Oh, here's one I just recalled - 2017's Brigsby Bear.
James (Kyle Mooney) is a twenty-something living with his "parents" (his "father" played by Mark Hamill) in an underground bunker in a vaguely post-apocalyptic world. His only real joy in life is following a Krofft Brothers-esque children's show called "Brigsby Bear". Then one day the police raid the bunker, arrest his "parents", and reveal to him that they were not his real parents but had kidnapped him from the hospital as a newborn and everything he knew about his life was a lie.
James is reunited with his biological family, which includes a younger sister. As you can imagine he has a hard time adapting to the real world, only made worse when he discovers that the "Brigsby Bear" show was made by his kidnapper Dad exclusively for him and nobody else in the world has ever seen or heard of it. In an attempt to try to resolve things with his old life and move on to his new one, James comes up with a plan to film his own finale movie to the "Brigsby Bear" story with the help of his new friends and eventually his family.
It's honestly a really touching and funny movie. I really recommend it.

House 2: The Second Story is a surprisingly fun horror-comedy featuring a memorable appearance from Cheers' John Ratzenberger. I've never seen the first House Movie, but part 2 used to come on HBO ALL the damn time when I was a kid. I must have watched it a good 20+ times I'm kinda surprised this isn't a bigger cult classic these days

{Spoiler}{Alien Sex Party starring Moby} This movie was a fake ass version of Clerks featuring Moby as the titular alien Dante from Clerks actually shows up in it at one point. I remember this being Cringey back when I was in college, I can only imagine how it holds up today

Short Time (1990). Pretty good Dabney Coleman film where he plays a cop who thinks he's going to die, so he tries to die in the line of duty so his family can collect a huge insurance. Sounds like a dark premise, but it's better than you'd think.

I have a couple of examples of movies with a volleyball theme. One is called "Beach Kings" (also known as "Green Flash), which stars David Charvet (Matt Brody from "Baywatch") as a basketball player who decides to try out for beach volleyball. It also has Kristin Cavallari, Jaleel White, and Torrey DeVitto. I recall seeing a couple of scenes of this on HBO way back when (maybe late-2000s or early-2010s) and then when a friend and I went to a gas station, I saw a DVD for this for sale for rather cheap. I thought "why not?" and then bought it. It's not really a good film, per se, but it wasn't offensive. I didn't hate the movie as it's a cheesy sports film. Plus, Kristin Cavallari and Torrey DeVitto provided some eye candy.
Another example is "Impact Point." How I heard of this movie was that I remember looking on Amazon for reviews on "Beach Kings" and this film was one of the suggestions. This film stars Brian Austin Green (yes, the guy from "Beverly Hills 90210") and Melissa Keller. Of course, one of the drawing factors was seeing the lovely Melissa Keller in a bikini on the cover art. Not long after, I found the movie on Crackle and watched it. The experience was double the film's duration due to the ads and bad Wi-Fi. I suppose I liked the movie enough to order it off of eBay, which I did sometime later and the viewings were much shorter than when I streamed it. The movie was about a beach volleyball player who is dealing with a stalker.
Anyway, this film was more or less like a Lifetime film with more nudity and profanity. Yes, there were some nude scenes with Keller, who provided some eye candy, as did the lovely Kayla Ewell. However, I think what drew me to buying this was Brian Austin Green hamming it up in this film. It was kind of funny seeing him act like a creepy stalker (or at least trying to). It's really not a good movie, either, but I don't mind the film for some of the reasons I mentioned. Sure, the eye candy was nice to look at, but I got more of a kick out of Brian Austin Green's performance.

{Spoiler}{Spoiler}{Enemy Territory} This movie Co Stars Ray Parker Jr of the GHostbusters fame. It's about a nerdy Insurance salesman who has to venture into a dangerous housing project to try to make a sale and ends up being hunted by a street gang. Tony Todd plays the main bad guy making this a weird Alpha version of the Candyman movie I watched this somewhat recently on YOutube
