Ok who in Evil Toons was a Shannon. Got Monique Gabrielle,Madison Stone,Barbara Dare(under a different name,Stacy Nix and Michelle Bauerer. Love Hamburger. Got a fan made DVD that is a rip of the old Laserdisc. For some reason I seem to remember Shannon Whirry being in it. She and Shannon Tweed were the two B actresses who seemed to have been in most sex-filled B films, especially if they were even in the neighborhood of being decent. I swore Evil Toons was one of them, but it has been over 30 years since I’ve seen it. I remember both Shannons LOL. Nah neither is in Evil Toons. Shannon Tweed would have been great in it as Dick Miller's Wife. But they got Michelle Bauerer instead. I think Evil Toons is streaming on TUBI. Might be Pluto.

The Bogman, yea now it is streaming on TUBI and other places. And I think it got a mass released DVD. That is the ashcan DVD. Made by the director when he was trying to get a distribution deal. New family moves into old family home in rural Arkansas. Where a bigfoot like creature known as the Bogman lives. Really fun creature feature that feels like you are in the video store and it is 1986. Friday and 20 minutes before the store closes. So all the known horror is rented. You grab Bogman. Only reason I ever heard of this is because one of the wrestlers I see often has a part in the film. So he had THE BOGMAN appear at a wrestling show. The sequel has been shot,Sea of Madness, and a third film is in the works. The Bog-i-Verse is coming folks.

I know it’s not that obscure, but nowhere near enough people have seen Mom and Dad Save the World. Yes, it means watching a guy who was convicted of child porn charges (production and possession), but if you can ignore that it’s a fantastically stupid and thoroughly enjoyable film.
Unfortunately, you run into the same problem (same actor) in another recommendation, Stay Tuned. It’s even more stupid, but still plenty enjoyable (at least as I recall).

I've seen both, always remembered Stay Tuned way more fondly. Even without the C.P. baggage, John Ritter is just a way more likeable/memorable leading man than the Evil Principal from Ferris Bueller's Day Off

This bit from Stay Tuned is one of the funniest jokes ever, I don't care what anybody says.

Heart Beeps starring Andy Kaufman. No idea why as a kid I had that film on a Betamax tape. Guessing my aunt recorded it off HBO for me. Haven't seen it in close to 40 years now.

Bad Girls from Valley High. A straight to DVD spoof horror notably for being Janet Leigh’s final film before her passing.

Killdozer - a television movie from the 70’s where a construction crew on a Pacific island fight for survival when their bulldozer gets possessed by an evil spirit and starts killing them.
I also used to pick up multipacks of horror movies from bargain bins and dollar stores. There were a mess of random titles in those things. Carnival of Souls I Bury the Living The Undertaker and His Pals Dominique is Dead Bloody Pit of Horror Idaho Transfer A Bucket of Blood The Abomination

I like "Killdozer", it was like a land-locked "Jaws". A bit slow but at lease everyone in it was serious about being in it (including young Robert Urich). "I Bury The Living" was a great story, it felt like an extended episode of "The Twilight Zone". And if an inanimate object could be nominated for an award for acting, the map board deserves one. Had a lot of fun with "Bloody Pit Of Horror". The dungeon scene at the end was like... I can imagine if an actor who was playing the main villain on an episode of the 60's "Batman" actually went nuts and started killing people, this is what it would look like.

I heard that a Blu-ray was released of this one. It's called "Blood Games." It's about this baseball team consisting of attractive women who beat a team consisting of rednecks. One guy tries to get all frisky with one of the women. The rednecks go after the women. Oh, and the manager, who happens to be the father of one of the women, has gambling debts and gets killed. So the women have to flee and then fight off the rednecks.
I remember seeing it a long time ago. I am not sure if anyone is familiar with it.

Forgot about then it got randomly mentioned on Beavis and Butthead and I started trying to find a copy. Learned Marvel comics did a comic adaptation of it. Got a copy and yea it is cheesy and fun. Those early days of DVD horror multipacks were fun. Lots of public domain and films assumed to be PD on them. It is how I first saw stuff like The Devil's Nightmare House on the Edge of the Park Pieces Don't Look in the Basement Sisters of Death And so many other films. Lots of which like say Messiah of Evil got rediscovered thanks to those VHS ripped to DVD releases and now got nice cleaned up Blu rays.

Red Rock West came out before Pulp Fiction. It also got a Blu Ray release in Australia last year, which I just borrowed of a mate of mine. Yea I was looking it up last night ,came out in 93 and pulp was what 94. It so felt like all those PF inspired Crime movies of that era. Things to do in denver when you are dead, the gun in betty lou's handbag and many others. I am really tempted to get the 4k release. But might just get the standard Blu ray cause it is way cheaper. Do you know if that Australian Blu is region locked? The Australian Blu Ray release is region free but the transfer itself is decent at best.

{Spoiler}{Spoiler}{Spoiler}{Enemy Territory} This movie Co Stars Ray Parker Jr of the GHostbusters fame. It's about a nerdy Insurance salesman who has to venture into a dangerous housing project to try to make a sale and ends up being hunted by a street gang. Tony Todd plays the main bad guy making this a weird Alpha version of the Candyman movie I watched this somewhat recently on YOutube I have seen this one, actually. In fact, I recall watching it on YouTube way back when, and then a year and a half later, I bought a DVD-R copy of it. It's an enjoyable film for what it is. Anyway, I should also mention some indie films that I have seen in theaters. I have also seen some foreign movies in theaters, too. However, one that I remember seeing a long time ago in theaters stands out because I am not sure how it got a release in my area. Yes, foreign films being imported is far from a novel concept. One of my local theaters even shows Bollywood films, which I have been telling myself to try out because the idea intrigues me (the reason I haven't is because they are usually long). Anyway, the movie is called "Extra Service." It's a cheesy action comedy with three Filipina actresses. It's almost like a cheesier take on Charlie's Angels. I remember, well, not minding it? I am certain that only a small fraction of people in the states know about this film. It was not even officially released on home media out here. Here is the trailer. I must note that it's in Tagalog.

Wired-Yea the John Belushi bio pic. Back then this played theaters for like 2 weeks was staying the weekend wit a friend. He went to see movies every weekend. So I goto to go with him. Only thing playing when we got there that he hadn;t seen already was Wired. Was just 3 of us in the theater.
Bad Manners-Take the Bad News Bears but make them orphans. Add in Martin Mull and Karen Black. Get this forgotten early 80s comedy. That I doubt more than 50 people own on Blu rya.
