The Trump-Rosie O'Donnell impersonators and that stuff with the guy who owned the Nuggets. Those were both "Someone please take Vince's keys" moments.

DDP stalking Sara. You want DDP to go after the Deadman to make a mark then that’s fine. It was stupid ass way to do it.

Feeding Earthquake to Hogan and leaving Warrior with Rude.
Earthquake entered the company by attacking Warrior. The feud would have basically written itself!
Warrior should have faced any heel OTHER than Rude!

Given this is a lighter thread about shitty booking I am going to avoid stuff that has terrible optics and is reflective of him being a piece of shit
The entirety of the Daniel Bryan angle from summer 2013 to February 2014, including giving Big Show the Yes chants for a month and a title push
Main event Kozlov
Booking the main event of Mania 25 as a match where Hunter would lose the title if he got DQed against the man who sexually assaulted his wife on live TV
Swapping the champions of Raw and Smackdown and thusly making the talent trade their actual belts
Bullying Cole into saying some of the most inane bullshit you can possibly imagine, like never using pronouns, saying he'd never seen stuff happen before which he absolutely has seen before
Pairing ECW with WCW during the InVasion
Making DDP a creepy stalker during the InVasion

Not controlling his ego and utterly destroying WCW's credibility with the Invasion angle, leaving so, so much money on the table.

The People’s Champ vs. People’s Champ idea. Of course they had to big dick him and act like he was a nobody. DDP was crazy over. Honestly, now that I think about it, Vince’s who booking of the WCW/NWO is probably the worst example of booking in history. The Invasion could’ve been a money maker for decades, but instead he had to piss on it just because. He OWNED the trademarks, yet instead of elevating them and making them all valuable he trashed them because they weren’t his ideas. Awful.

The stone cold heel turn is the worst one he ever made (albeit the idea was brought to him by stone cold). This is one he should have shot down.
Then to be handed an out when it wasn’t working, turning him back face to be the wwf leader v the wcw invasion, only to turn him heel again was unforgivably bad. The reaction Austin got when he became “the old stone cold” just makes it inexcusable to stick down this path.
The invasion angle as a whole has already been covered by other posters, and this definitely links in with that.

Looking back he definitely has a Wet and Messy fetish (thanks Wikipedia). Women constantly being humiliated by being covered in food, fights at the makeup table, mud and gravy matches, poop dropped from the ceiling. Basically every top woman was humiliated at some point in that way. The pinnacle was Vince having Trish mopped up by Stephanie while he told her she was a plaything he was tired of. Just gross.

The ridiculous thing is that Vince was somewhat in the right to be upset/annoyed at him and had he kept it to just releasing a statement saying so, nobody would have batted an eye

The Kiss My Ass Club itself was a sign of Vince booking for the sake of his fetishes, even with the 'comeuppance' at the end.

Feeding Earthquake to Hogan and leaving Warrior with Rude. Earthquake entered the company by attacking Warrior. The feud would have basically written itself! Warrior should have faced any heel OTHER than Rude! I can get Rude as a feud. You need someone to cover for Warrior's... limitations. The guy had beaten him in the past, and got a makeover to make him more serious. It's having nothing else for Warrior besides that. Vince knew the way he was going to go for at least 6 months before Mania, yet the heel side was basically all the guys Hogan had already beaten. In that time you'd want to build up at least 2-3 new big heels, see which stick so Warrior has someone to face where people couldn't go "Hulk already did that, better". So Warrior ended up the 6th wheel in a tag feud. As you say, have Quake as the new big monster who even Hogan couldn't defeat. Or going another route and having another fresh top worker, strap a rocket to Rick Martel. Over winter have him actually get the better of Tito in winter, maybe a feud with Hercules or a big guy to test out how he'd do, give him some credibility so he wasn't just a pretty boy, then he might have been able to carry Warrior.

Booking the main event of Mania 25 as a match where Hunter would lose the title if he got DQed against the man who sexually assaulted his wife on live TV I mean sure the match stunk to high heaven., but it kinda made sense. The face can’t beat the shit out of the heel who made it personal or else he loses his championship.

Booking Miz to be too scared of Dexter Lumis to escape a cage instead of WINNING THE UNITED STATES TITLE, especially when Miz could have, you know, stomped on Dexter as he jumped out of the cage?

I am going to start with Vince's obsession with booking Taker against BIGGER guys, who couldn't work and often injured him. Giant Gonzalez, Khali, Mable. Eh, that one I do understand, even if it was rarely actually watchable. The Undertaker character spent the bulk of his time as a face so you'd kind of want him on the backfoot and there are only so many ways to make someone like him an underdog. This. Undertaker is 7'0 practically. You can't just throw anyone at him as a threat, especially given the roster some years. Giant wrestlers were always given other giants to fight because it drew and was believable. Sure you can throw Shawn Michaels at Taker at Wrestlemania IX but would a 1993 audience truly believe that the scrawny little Rocker could truly hang with the Undertaker? Theres a reason it happened in 1997 after years of establishing and building up both than it did in 1993.
