They're still sexist. They want Juggalos to find God. What about Juggalettes?

The music of that song is a complete lift of The Cross by Prince aswell which i thought was pretty funny when i heard it.

Godz, even I gotta call shenanegins on this one. I DID listen to ICP for a while ... had a couple albums (Great Malenko, and a couple others) ... and if there was an overall message, it was lost on me. I heard plenty of cliches of the hardcore rap scene, however. Jed Shaffer ~Not trying to bust your balls here. I wanna try to understand. Okay, you mentioned Milenko, do you still have it? If so, listen to Halls of Illusions, which I mentioned above, and "Pass Me By" which is all about their desire to get into Heaven and lead a good life. No, I grew tired of the act and ditched the CDs. And while "Halls" (one of the few songs I remember) does have a ... well ... anti-ruining your life message, the song two tracks later ... the one that's set up like a gameshow? Where they're gonna beat up and kill the girl's boyfriend and kidnap her? Where it ends "Run along, sugart*ts, he ain't comin' home!"? Kinda contradictory to their previous stance. Jed Shaffer ~When you have songs like that on the same disc, the mixed messages just end up making confusion.

I would say hypocrisy more so than confusion. We should stop talking ICP and go back to the subject though. Just a suggestion, do whatever you want.

Jed Shaffer ~When you have songs like that on the same disc, the mixed messages just end up making confusion. See there, you just contradicted yourself! You say they kidnap the girl, but then tell her to run along? Come on you hater! Nah, seriously, the song you're refering to is...ugh....I can't think of the title actually, which is surprising cause I like it. But, basically, there is no message there (although the guy in the song is a drunk but that probably doesn't warrant killing him) Not all of their songs have one. Thats the point, they fill the CD's with carnage, and wacky violence to attract people. Then they close the CD's with songs such as the one above, the real message. Draw 'em in with the violence, then educate them on the way out, is the point. But my point in comparing them to the problems in mainstream rap is this: What's a more prevelant problem in society, what are people more likely to immitate? Being murdered by some sort of freak show in a carnival, or, picking up a gun, shooting someone and selling drugs? Whether you like ICP or hate them I really hope you can see what I'm saying there. EDIT: But yeah, not trying to hijack the thread or anything, if you or anyone else has any more questions or just wants to try and prove me wrong, feel free to PM me

In no particular order
Nirvana - "Nevermind" Radiohead - "OK Computer" The Eagles - "Hotel California" R.E.M. - "Out of Time" anytime someone says a "Greatest Hits" or Compilation is someone's best album. NO SHIT SHERLOCK!!!!!

The kinds of CDs I hate, just for fun...
-Anything you could consider 'emo' (Green Day, Hawthorne Heights, Taking Back Sunday, etc etc etc)
-Anything by Metallica. OVERRATED.
-Anything by The Beatles. I just don't get the music.
-Anything by Black Sabbath or Ozzy. It's not that good, really.
-Lastly, any rap that isn't Three 6 Mafia. Everything is 'meh' compared to them.
HOWEVER, there are exceptions.
-Any CD involving a wrestler who may or may not have gotten their start in the 70's (5 points for anyone getting that reference)
-Any CD with the WWE Championship on the cover. Yes, it was good!
-Soundtrack CDs to movies I like.

I'm a fan, I have every album, some of the EPs. I think the main thing that turns off a lot of people are the fans. I don't mean ALL the fans but I'm talking the ones who take it way too seriously and memorize every word to every song by every artist that's on Psychopathic Records. Especially when they wouldn't give two craps about those artists if they weren't affiliated with the label at all. They really do act like sheep. I've seen them 3 times and was so completely annoyed with the people there. The 2nd time, they got off stage and there was a HUGE chant of "FAMILY! FAMILY!" which is good enough and all. Then I was in line to buy merch and the guy in front of me starts patting himself all over frantically, stops and goes "Somebody stole my wallet!!!!" Yeah, family indeed.

Although it's good, I think The Who's Tommy is overrated.

Thats why I dont go to the shows anymore. They're easily my favorite musical act of all time, but I refuse to deal with a large group of their fans.
