By the way folks, whether or not you hate a band/singer, you really technically can't say you can't stand an album unless you've actually heard, y'know, the album...not just a snippet of one single you saw on MTV a few times.
I don't care much for, hmm...let's say the Chili Peppers, but can I not stand their latest album? f*** if I know, I've only heard one song off it.

I'll give my two cents on overrated albums: 1. The Game-The Documentary 2. Kanye West- Late Registration 3. Metallica- Black Album 4. RHCP-By the Way 5. Metallica-RTL

* Doors. Mystique and an aura of "poète maudit" granted Jim Morrison and his band immortality. Now he's the Poster Boy (and T-shirt boy, and Wallet-boy etc) of mediocre musicians who made it big BECAUSE they died before getting exposed for what they were. [see, Cobain, Kurt] Morrison's so called poetry makes me scratch my head, and the musicianship of the rest of the band is questionable... How Ray Manzarek can be regarded as a world class keyboard player is beyond me. Doors are decent background music while drunk. That's all. * Nirvana. See my tirade on Morrison. Right time, right place, right thing. I'm still unimpressed and unconvinced about their real impact and innovation, but whatever... I`ll agree with ya on The Doors. I never understood why they are so big. as far as nirvana, they really were just lucky. But I love nirvana. as far as not understanding their lyrics, they both were f***ed up on drugs. morrison on acid, cobain on heroin.

Nickelback are generic as f***. No wonder they're popular.
But really, FAB, PANIC AT THE DISCO, MY CHEMICAL ROMANCE.......why do some of their supporters use KISS* to explain the make-up nonsense?
*=The KISS make-up, like the concerts were so damn over the top affairs, it was carnival rock. Those emo-acts though.....its just metrosexual sillyness.

I could never get into these discussions, I like what I like, doesn't matter what anyone else says.
