And I think Rush Limbaugh (spelling) is a jerk for what he said. I agree but at least he manned up and admitted he was wrong.

that would suck. but anything for a new sequel I guess. I really can't see fox being able to withstand the grueling effects of an acting scedule. altho I think he's at a point now where he could go out and act and people would say "good for him" I almost cry when I see him these days. This is one movie I really don't want to see get remade or anything. It needs to be left as is. cartoon intro www.youtube.com/watch?v=ADOUeIfBIEEOne of the great cartoons based off a film.Wish it had went longer.

In '87, Huey released this, Fore, their most accomplished album. I think their undisputed masterpiece is "Hip to be Square", a song so catchy, most people probably don't listen to the lyrics. But they should, because it's not just about the pleasures of conformity, and the importance of trends, it's also a personal statement about the band itself. "Is that a raincoat?" "Yes it is!" Bateman owns.

I think the first is the best movie, but 2 is prolly the most fun to watch. I mean theres no stopping really. Present to Future to Alternate Present to Past and then back to the original present...

Its that he's said stupid s*** numerous times, like Imus. Except Limbaugh hasn't done anything THAT stupid...yet. He's like that idiot crook who keeps being busted over and over again for stupid mistakes while doing crimes. You can depend on him to f*** up!

that's why I like part 2. sadly most people in the retro internet circle bash the hell out of part 2. but they didn't really have a lot of options after crispin glover refused to do the sequels.

I enjoyed the second movie a lot. Not as much as the original, but much more than Part III which, IMO, is clearly the worst of the trilogy (although it's still a decent film, just not as good as the first two). Although part of me would've preferred to see how the sequel would've turned out had the original draft been kept, where they go back to 1967.

The problem with Part 2 for me was: (1) The editing narrative was uneven. Considering that Zemeckis was shooting #3 when cutting #2, I don't hold it against him. (2) Its funny, but the 3rd act. As creative and fun as it is, it also inadvertedly gives off this whole feeling of both "been there, done that" and "I want to watch the first movie again." I always thought the original 1967 approach would have been interesting, but after reading that draft that someone posted earlier..... I can see why that got dropped. As for #3, of the trilogy its the one tale that tries to have exploratory episodic with the time travel premise, without any serious gravitas consequence for the main hero. Its the STAR TREK or DOCTOR WHO of the franchise, for better or for worse.

In costume, Lloyd still looks like the same Doc Brown as always.

Anyway, I just read that draft* and, something about that whole 3rd act just doesn't really work. Maybe its the fact that his mother doesn't recognize him AGAIN (I mean, same guy that her hooked up and she wanted to bang? Come on) or that whole speech solution of a climax. Basically, its like any other early draft of a movie. Some ideas stayed, some concepts were streamlined or expanded, some altogether were aborted, and later more ideas were brought in (like the 1885 western). What would have been more interesting is if Gale/Zemeckis had tried to make the girlfriend actually be in the story instead of the whole sleep/dream/coma/whatever thing that was their excuse to simply write her out. I mean, it would have been interesting. *=Apparently, I had read a later draft, "Paradox," which was the 3 hour cut with both 2015/alternative 1985/1955/Western stuff.

If you refuse to call your parents or spouse or kids a certain term....its a safe bet that such a term shouldn't be uttered by a public figure at anyone. Safe bet? Yes? But again, off topic. BTW, wasn't John Lithgow the original choice for the Doc?

Now try to tell me they never started filming with Eric Stoltz LOL and yes John Lithgow was considered for Doc and so was Jeff Goldblum.

He's just so perfect for the role.
In the commercials he did recently as Doc Brown, he looks EXACTLY the same.

No need to hijack a good thread.
