in my own opinion, the animated series batman(voiced by kevin conroy) is the best depiction of batman ever!

Christian Bale. But, Adam West still holds a special place in my heart.

As much as i like Christian Bale
Kevin Conroy captured Bruce Wayne/Batman perfectly (Same with every memeber of the voice cast).

Pfft, Conroy only VOICED Batman.
Bale had to job in the costume and actually made us believe he could be an ass-kicking ninja.
Bale FTW.

Bale just over Conroy in that Bale actually had to portray him physically. Kevin's a close second though, with Keaton being a solid third.
heh, rra and I posted the same response at roughly the same time.

Michael Keaton for me. Although if Christian Bale keeps going the way he is, then we may have a new winner.

I didn't like Bale's "Batman" voice much
It sounded a bit iffy

I just think it sounds crap Hopefully he does it better in "Dark Knight" You know what actually was crap in BATMAN BEGINS? Clue: She's married to Top Gun. The problem with Katie Holms in that movie wasn't that she is a bad actress; it's that she was surrounded by actors who are much better than her. I mean, this girl's biggest acting challenge was Dawson's Creek before she did "Batman Begins." She goes from James Van Der Beek and Joshua Jackson to Christian Bale, Michael Caine, Morgan Freeman, Rutger Hauer, Liam Niessen, and Cillian Murphy. The poor girl didn't stand a chance.

Confession: I really, really liked Val Kilmer as Batman. I actually liked him alright too. He's another one that suffered from a shitty script.

True Thankfully Nolan fixed that by casted a GOOD actress (Good man) Well, he only casted Maggie Gyllenaal because Holms dropped out, but yeah, Maggie is much better than Katie. Hell, I don't understand why Maggie wasn't cast in "Batman Begins." I would have gone with for the role to begin with.

True Thankfully Nolan fixed that by casted a GOOD actress (Good man) Indeed. I still assume that Holmes was a WB "suggestion" to Nolan. I do think its funny that the biggest reason why Holmes' contract was bought out wasn't that she stunk. It was because that whole Tom Cruise story being the news of that summer, instead of her movie. You know what her problem is? She's a TV jobber, and working with guys like Bale, Oldman, all these theatrically-trained ass kickers......she looks like s***. Not that she was good in the first place.
