good grief, adrew mccarthy and kim catrall in "manequin" were a more convincing couple. heck, afleck and Jlo in "Gigli" had more chemistry than these two. lol

anakin made padme fall in love with him by committing small scale genocide. couple scenes after that shes all "i really...deeply...and truly love you..." with all the warmth of a piece of drywall. the simple stupidity of that plot point makes them the worst.

Why has nobody mentioned Kate Beckinsdale/Hugh Jackman from Van Helsing? Two actors who were good in other movies, but seemed like total robots in Van Helsing. They had so little romantic chemistry it makes me depressed (seriously, Anakin/Padme looks like Bogart/Bergman in Casablanca by comparison)

As for the actors, I do agree that they have some of the worst chemistry with each other that I've ever seen. To think, all those years we thought that Darth Vader was the baddest villain ever, when really he was just a whiny little b**** inside a big scary suit. |
