Nightmare on Elm Street......that part when Freddy ripped that girls chest open and blood splatters out on that bed made me crap my pants when I was a kid.
Pet Semetary.......that kid getting hit by that mack truck.....nuff said, couldnt watch that film for years because of that.
Dunno if anyone has seen this but when I was 5, my dad and I watched the 1985 version of the Twilight Zone, seen an episode where this chick got chased through this mall at night by mannequins and if they touch you, your body part becomes mannequin like. Had nightmares of that for years and recently found it on youtube. After I watched it for the first time in 22 years I was like wtf? that scared me for years? damn.

The Evil Dead, when I was a kid. Notably, I didn't actually SEE the film, just heavily edited clips on TV, as it was briefly banned in the UK as a 'video nasty' - I knew someone who's dad had the video, and the combination of the title, the video box and the clips led my imagination to run wild. So I was terrified by this film that I didn't actually see till about 1992 (first saw the clips on TV aged about 5-6).

Oh Killer Clowns was freaky to me. Here ya go... www.youtube.com/watch?v=6r6RU8xXynYYou know it wasn't the whole movie but I was freaked out by "MY PRECIOUS!" in Lord of the Rings. I didn't see it coming the first time I saw the movie. Bilbos faced looked all evil for a second. That was weird.

Sleepaway Camp. That ending is still freaky Another one that stands out was Slumber Party Massacre. The dead pizza guy scene freaked me out when I seen this movie as a kid.

Jaws freaked the hell out of me when I younger (and I'm obviously not the only one), everything from the music, the actual shark attack scenes and that damn scene when Hooper suddenly discovers Ben Gardener's head whilst diving...

Pink Floyd The Wall, because as a kid I took all of the symbolism literaly. kids going into sausage grinders and screaming vaginas with fangs=nightmares.

The original Amityville Horror. Scared me at age 6, and those windows are so creepy even today.

Quint's death is very intense so I decided never to mess with any shark after seeing him vomit up blood. Just a wild scene in a great movie.

Ghostbusters II - The Subway scene Seconded. And Gozer (from the first flick) scared me. Not a horror movie by any means, but The Blank ( Dick Tracy) always creeped me out. I'd always get really uncomfortable when the character is first introduced, and all you see is the mask staring at the camera. And that voice *shudders*
