Not a stretch at all. Pretty much some straight up truth right there. Real football has tons of action. While soccar is just a bunch of nothing for 90 minutes. Thats why soccar isn't taking well here. Too boring. But in stuff like Baseball theres what a minute gap between EVERY new batter. Compared to football which is running and is so energetic if you get good players, watch Christanio Ronaldo and tell me thats not entertaining. Players like Angel who are good in small spurts but not like he was when playing for Boro. Its not entertaining. There I said it. I don't care who you have out in your soccar games its boring. And can end in a 0-0 tie. YAY!

There arnt many 0-0 draws though, and honestly only in league games draws happen because in cups they either go to extra times or a replay

Unfortunatly the Dolphins are representing us in this game.... Who cares. Every team has to play some international game for some dumb reason. It started two seasons ago in Mexico and will continue for one game each season until all the teams go abroad.

I don't care enough about basketball to argue, because its lame too. And real football (American) you only get a once in awhile. Doesn't happen at all really. One every now and then.

Japanese games can (they stop after a certain number of innings - I think 12). If weather interferes in an American game, it's stopped and ultimately replayed.

Im sorry to say it but "real" football is soccer. American rules or gridiron is the more acceptable name. It is football, but not the 'real' one.

Never seen Chad Johnson score a Touchdown I take it. Now there is a man who shows a great deal of satisfaction when scoring. There a clip on youtube of this? Theres some of him here, he's #85 with the Orange Jersey. Theres also a bunch of other guys showing some satisfaction scoring. youtube.com/watch?v=VW2D8o7zq8c

0-0 ties can be exciting and come down to excellent defending and goalkeeping though. High score does not equal entertainment. Agreed. Especially between two good teams. There's no question that some 0 - 0 ties can be boring, though. Usually due to conservative play that doesn't go anywhere. Same with any sport.

But it still can happen, and the only time you get 0-0 draws is in either bad games which EVERY SPORT HAS or in underdogs doing well, and football (the real one the one with the round ball) in 1863 was the formation of the Football Association, actually its the aniversary. Compared to American Football, which originated from Rugby, was first played profesinally in 1892

I wont knock soccer just because I don't watch it, but I do find it terribly boring and it seems like most Americans agree, seeing as how there isn't much of an audience here for it.
I don't dislike it because it isn't American either. I can't stand baseball either.
And American football is the real football to me. It has never had another name since I've been watching and soccer has always been soccer. No reason for me to call it any differently now.
Anyway, I really hope that people overseas don't take to it very well. I'm sure it will become big other places, but I really think it is crappy to the fans of these teams to not be able to watch their teams play, especially season ticket holders.
Although it did provide us with some damn fine comedy the other day during a Jason Taylor (Miami Dolphins defensive end) interview the other day. He said "we can't win in America, maybe we need to go overseas", or something to that extent. Hilarious.

Why does everyone care about which sport is better or which is the "real" football? Just watch what you like and leave it at that. Honestly, I've never seen a soccer vs. football argument that ended well.
