Faith No More.
They're seen by many as a one-hit wonder because of "Epic" but there is so much more to them than that.

yeah, I can agree with both Femmes and Living Colour. Haven't heard enough of the other bands to have an opinion.
Weezer I think are underrated. They'll always be known for Hash Pipe, and the album Make Believe, but their first two efforts in particular were just downright amazing(despite the fact that Rivers hates Pinkerton) and even today could pass off as being modern, IMO.

Extreme. They were cast as an early 90's hair metal gone soft one hit wonder band, but they did some great stuff. Plus Nuni is a great gutarist

Coheed & Cambria.
THey have a hella devoted fanbase...but as far as mainstream appreciation goes, they have very little. And most people seem to hate them because "OMG TEH D00D SOUNDZ LYKE A GURL."

Faith No More. They're seen by many as a one-hit wonder because of "Epic" but there is so much more to them than that. They're always going to suffer from the black eye that is Chuck Mosely. Especially since pure Mike Patton fans seem to prefer Mr. Bungle.

Body Count
Yes, and I do agree that Coheed and Cambria definitely remind me of a Rush for the late 2000s.

Body Count Yes, and I do agree that Coheed and Cambria definitely remind me of a Rush for the late 2000s. They remind a lot of people of Rush. Me included. Only I think they're way better. I love Rush...but Coheed tops them in every way as far as I'm concerned.

I'm not really an expert on music, so I'm not sure what woud be underrated, but I'll go withy Coheed and Cambria too. And maybe Alter Bridge?

ah yes. Pixies big time.
Oddly enough, on Fox this past Sunday, they played "Here Comes Your Man" before going to commercial during a Packers game. Thought it was weird as f***

I dont think the Pixies classify as underrated. They are legends of alternative rock.
