Elevation X will be the first recorded scaffold match in over two years. That includes the whole world. When was the last one? Some indy show ran by a guy named Tony Hunter. Midnight Express/Rock & Roll Express.

Am I the only one thats actually pretty syched about this ppv. I caught on to TNA in the summer. And much like everyone else Iv'e been disapointed as of late with Russo's booking. But all in all he can actually book some exciting matches.
Even last ppv the "Little Italy Street Fight" was a rediculous concept match. But I found it to be pretty exciting thanks in most part to L.A.X.. The only thing that killed it was Brother Ray getting a lap dance killing dead all continuity in the feud.
And I even found the "Prison Yard Match" to be exceptionally exciting. Especially considering that I pegged it as an awful idea from day one. I like the way Sting is being portrayed as a monster instead of and old school 80's style wrestler. I think it's more exciting way to utilize him. And his dive from atop the dumpster through a table on Abyss was awesome. And displays how dedicated he is to the business. Not to mention Iv'e really been interested in this feud even though it's outrageous. And if the "Prison Yard Match" was any indication I think the "Last Rites" match could be just as exciting.
Mostly though I'm pumped for Elevation X. This is a TNA concept match that I actually find to be better than most. It brings back and old school match with a new school flavor. Even though I would have liked to see it used as an X divison showcase. I'm satisfied with Rhino vs. AJ. Their feud has carried over well and AJ is just excellent as a heel. And I think this will be a good and exciting way to end this feud. And ofcourse I believe AJ is gonna deliver the goods like always.

I don't think Joe will come out champion, I expect for him to win by DQ or something. Pushing the fued into Lockdown, where he wins the belt...finally. If Joe wins by DQ then he's the champ. In TNA, the title can change hands on a DQ. That's how Abyss won the belt from Sting back at Genesis. Oops, I had forgot about that. Maybe it will end in a No Contest, or maybe Christian Cage will win by DQ, I dunno. I just really expect the fued to be pushed into Lockdown. With the whole cage element and stuff, it just seems like a fitting situation for Joe to win the Championship.

But because of outside interference he wont be able to get the victory. This will cause him to get frustrated and dqed. Furthering the feud.

I think Cage keeps the belt at least one more month. I think they want to keep this feud going a-bit. Cage is killing as top-heel and Joe needs to stay after him longer. Then once Joe has the gold and has maybe given Cage a rematch AJ could be ready for a main-event run.
AJ's heel-turn has been awesome. The totally blah guy with a hick-accent that needed Daniels to make his feuds interesting has actually become a fun character.
Speaking of Daniels, I wonder when they are actually executing his comeback.

Daniels is the man, he should be champion sometime in 2007.
That said, I hope Joe beats Christian for the belt at Destination X. Christian is a great heel, but we've been waiting a long time for Joe to get the gold.

There's a bigger reason why I feel Christian needs to hold the title for a longer stretch of time.
Really, now is the time for Christian to usurp Jarrett as TNA's all-around top heel. Obviously, Christian's the top heel at the moment, but TNA should make an effort to have it be so that, when fan's think of the "default" bad guy in their company, Christian's name is the one that gets thought of, not Jarrett's.
There are other heels, obviously, but Christian's the only one, I feel, that can be that sort of Ric Flair, top company sneaky heel kind of guy. Considering all the ill feelings from fans concerning Jarrett's belt-hogging, this should be a time to push someone new to fill that role, and Christian's the guy to have do it.
Let him hold onto the title for a good, long while, before dropping it to Joe, says I.

There's a bigger reason why I feel Christian needs to hold the title for a longer stretch of time. Yeah, there is. Joe's knee is shot to hell. Watch his latest matches and compare it to old ROH stuff. He's a lot more sluggish and less daring. He needs time to recover.

We say that, but Christian's the only one to really fit that mold.
Granted, Rhino did win it once, but that was just to make up for Nash missing the original Bound For Glory, seeing as how he lost it two weeks later right back to Jarrett.
Hell, Dudleys haven't won any gold at all since they jumped ship.

Let's face it, does Joe really need the title at the moment?
Not really no. Plus i don't think there is really many heels he can defend against except maybe AJ, who is doing a fine job.
There's plenty of people who can chase after Christian at the moment so let's leave it that way.

I'd definitely take him over Bobby "despite a ridiculous push I still struggle to get-over" Lashley anyway. But I don't think they'll ditch Test, IMO he'll pop-up once the damage done from his repeated jobbing to Lashley has subsided.
