I think the title change happens at Lockdown, not sure if Joe or Angle wins it then. They'll save it for the out of town PPV.

If Joe gets the title shot, but doesn't get the title, I won't be upset. I wouldn't mind it if Joe spent the next good, long while chasing Christian and his cronies, all the way to Bound For Glory or something. We'll see. Yeah, they need to make Joe's win a big thing, and that's just the way to do it. Having Joe and Christian constantly trading the belt or something would be a no-no. Which makes me think Russo's going to do it.

Nice to see that this is getting more attention than the last PPV thread.

I feel that Joe is going to become the next Monty Brown and that saddens me.

As long as Joe doesn't get made like a fool again, I don't care. Christian as champ still works for me.

While TNA has been squashing two-hours-worth of promo/angle-material into one-hour and pushing matches to-the-side way too-much I think the writing has been significantly better since Russo came-back.

I don't think Joe will come out champion, I expect for him to win by DQ or something. Pushing the fued into Lockdown, where he wins the belt...finally.

In TNA, the title can change hands on a DQ. That's how Abyss won the belt from Sting back at Genesis. Except that Sting beat Jarrett via DQ and didn't win the title a few years back, even though the "Title can change hands on a DQ" rule was made "From day one." So I wouldn't be surprised if they somehow "forgot" to use that rule again in the near future. In fact here's the date (from OWW): November 5, 2003 - NWA^TNA: Sting defeated Jeff Jarrett by DQ in an NWA World Heavyweight title match..

Not a bad card at all. And already the build for this one has been better than for Against All Odds.
Let's see how the next couple of weeks go.
