That's another thing to back up wanting a longer reign for Christian; he's got a lot of people who can chase after him right now (Angle, Joe, Daniels (when he returns), even Abyss, maybe Rhino after awhile, etc.), so why cut his legs off from under him so soon?
What I can't wait for: the Christian Coalition runs roughshod over TNA, using dirty tactics to keep the belt on their leader. One day, the groups hits the ring, Christian gets on the mic, calls his team the best going, the most dangerous stable in existence, and that it ensures that he'll have the title forever-
<click-click BANG BANG BANG!>
LAX decides to show who the true dominant heel faction is.
...I'm a sucker for heel vs. heel feuds. I'm one of the few, seeing as how most get bad reactions (deservedly so...who are you supposed to root for?).

From PWTORCH.com
PWTorch has learned that TNA Wrestling and the NWA have agreed to a split of their partnership.
Bob Trobich, head of legal for the NWA, and Steve Campbell, head of legal for Panda Energy as representative of TNA, have negotiated to terminate the working agreement between the NWA and TNA. NWA will take back possession of the NWA Hvt. Title and NWA Tag Titles with a storyline to be set up at the Destination X PPV.
Jeff Jarrett has been the third party representing TNA during the negotiations to cease the working relationship.
There have been a lot of rules that the NWA has that TNA has not been following. As TNA has grown, and as the NWA name has become less of a marketing asset, a split was considered a strong possibility. TNA long ago stopped using the title "NWA-TNA" as its name.
TNA aligned with the NWA initially because TNA founder Jerry Jarrett, Jeff's father, believed that the "NWA" name carried credibility with the target audience for the weekly Wednesday night PPV format TNA began with. The heritage of the NWA World Title has been a marketing tool for TNA over its four-plus year history. TNA, though, did not want to abide by NWA rules such as having to notify the NWA board ahead of time when a title change was planned, use the NWA name in all marketing, and pay the NWA a fee if TNA ran an event in another NWA member's territory. For those and a variety of other reasons, an agreement to split has been reached.
TNA's titles will lose the NWA label and become TNA titles. How TNA will handle the "lineage" aspect of the storyline shift is not known yet. This has happened before, such as when ECW and World Class Championship Wrestling split from the NWA in the mid-1990s and mid-1980s respectively.

So yeah, I really wanted to go to this but I just remembered that it's THIS Sunday and I haven't really gotten the time to motivate myself enough to want to spend all that money to get out there so I don't think I'm gonna be going lol

Yeah, it isn't worth the drive.
I'm about 30 minutes away from Universal and I'm not even bothering.

I'd make the drive to see Joe's first title shot, and maybe Steiner/Angle (and, hopefully, Daniels' return...it's GOTTA be soon).
The rest is kind of meh, but I'm much more excited for this PPV than I've been for the last two.

I forgot the PPV was on Sunday as well, could've sworn it was next week, but meh I doubt very much I'd order this one. The PPV's seemed a lot better in the early part of 2006,IMO.
I see myself ordering Mania over this honestly.

This ppv is way more intriguing than last month's. I'm actually really looking forward to Destination X. The matches sound exciting and the concept matches actually make a decent amount of sense this time. I haven'y been anticipating a ppv this much in a while.

I want to see Daniels return as one-half of a reunited XXX. It needs to happen. I dunno, Triple X kind of ran its course back in the day, and Daniels really needs to continue a solid singles run. Still, if Daniels formed a stable, I'd mark for it.

I've actually had my fingers crossed. That he'll interfere in the elavation X on Rhino's behalf. Beginning a nice new feud between he and AJ with their rolls reversed this time. Plus if he were to BME AJ from off the scaffold. Then I would probably spend the next month continuously marking out.
If this is how it goes down. Then I'm hoping for The Coalition, AJ, and Abyss vs. Daniels, Sting, Joe, Angle, and Rhino in a Lethal Lockdown match at the next ppv. Because to me Lethal Lockdown is TNA's version of War Games. And I could see and wouldn't mind it being an annual event.

Well knowing who the team is, I wouldn't say that.
Unneccesary maybe, but I hope they get more to do in TNA.

What will they be called? I would mark if they were called the New Killer Bees! Also they would need the yellow and Black stripped attire as well!

So what's the final card for tonight? The only match that really sounds that good is Joe/Christian.

So what's the final card for tonight? The only match that really sounds that good is Joe/Christian. Sabin/Lynn 2 out of 3 falls should be really good, and I'd bet that Steiner/Angle should deliver nicely (if the quality level of Joe/Steiner was any indication). Looks like I won't be catching this one, though, gots me a lover-ly date tomorrow night.
