the other thing is that roids are prefectly legal if they are needed. And some really need it to live a normal life.....including me at certain times.

Wow, Warrior actually made a lot of good points which were of course ignored. They just wanted to know if he knew Benoit and ignored basically all the arguments he was making against the 'roid rage accusations.

As far as Rey goes, wasn't his name among the two or three that came up a few months back regarding another doctor prescribing steroids? I'm fairly certain it was him, Orton and I think Eddie.

Steroids are all over sports and the early death rate isn't nearly as high as wrestling. There has to be something else. No matter what the facts are though, I think wrestling is going to be used as an example to out steroids and as a scapegoat for the blame. This will be to avoid damaging the state of the mlb, nfl, and nba which are respected parts of the american culture. A situation like this gives the media a perfect oppurtunity to do it.

Add Edge and Helms to that list as well. Both had denials in their Myspace blogs.

I just checked my 24/7 update. They have put WM 23 back on the listings. The Benoit & MVP match is replaced with what seems to be The Condemned footage and more Hall of Fame clips.

It was this match that started turning around the way I think about MVP now he is one of my favorites (of the midcarders) on smackdown. That's a shame.. I don't think leaving in his really good match on a DVD means they are giving the thumbs up to the horrific events that occured.. oh well I guess we all have better things to worry about than if that match is on a dvd or not... still stinks though.

This has convinced me that future printings of old PPVs on DVD will not contain Benoit's matches. I wonder if WWE has considered that by deleting Benoit from their video history, they're only creating an insane collector's market among eBayers and bootleggers and driving up the cult appeal of a killer. People are going to end up paying top dollar for early printings of those DVDs.

The Benoit threads are moving a lot slower than they were a week ago. I would love to guess that means we're all moving on.

In the end, they're only gonna wind up costing themselves money and creating a miniature "wrestling black market" around Benoit footage.

Even worse, they may be creating a new Charles Manson in that he will become a cult icon even after the horrible things he did.
