Seriously what a horrible product WWE has had this year. Nothing has been worth the money and with WWE being the mess off screen why are people supporting this product? Seriously why? No matches this year except the Cena-HBK match on Raw has stood out for me and I can barely remember most of the main events in the PPv's except in most likely had Cena and Batista in them.
I mean I know people say the worst year for WWE was in 1995, but no way 2007 is much worse, I mean at least in 1995 we had Micheals in his prime, Bret Hart at his best, an underated champ in Diesel, decent tag team wrestling, an okay midcard with Owen Hart, British Bulldog, Razor Ramon, Million Dollar Corporation, Jeff Jarret, an awesome heel Jerry Lawler.
Honestly what has made 2007 a good year? I can't think of one thing, maybe the emergence of Matt Hardy, Kennedy, Punk, Umaga and Bobby Lashley. Other than that nothing, 2007 was dominated by death, suspensions and firings over steriods and a lot of injuries.

Yeah it sucks considering how could 2006 was, espicially the first half. That first half of 06 was the best run RAWs had since 02...

I don't watch WWE and I thought Wrestlemania was very good this year. Taker/Batista, Michaels/Cena, Benoit/MVP....much better match quality than Sultan vs Rocky Miavia at Wrestlemania 13, or any other match except for Hart/Austin, ten years ago.

Bobby Lashley is considered one of the GOOD things!?! Yes, especially compared to the other main eventers they had this except Edge and The Undertaker, ie-Cena, Batista and Orton. But again shows you how bad 2007 was.

Seriously what a horrible product WWE has had this year. Nothing has been worth the money and with WWE being the mess off screen why are people supporting this product? Seriously why? Because different people have different tastes and some people like where WWE is heading and has been heading. Probably the majority do. It's just that the majority don't hang out on the net and talk about it like we do. Other than that nothing I for one have enjoyed the new ECW quite a bit. I can't talk about Smackdown since I don't watch the show anymore. I have enjoyed the undercard on RAW and I did go from disliking Umaga completely to liking his character. Seriously though... if you don't like the product, don't support it. Don't watch it. Don't talk about it, spreading the word further. Send a politely-worded email to their Comments area on wwe.com and let them know your issues. No, it's not going to cause an instant change in the product, but if enough people do then there's a chance that word may eventually filter up the grapevine.

I think the in-ring product and the angles and storylines in general have been much better than some of the earlier 2000s stuff...
Cena has had a bunch of good matches, including dragging something out of Khali, and working well with Edge, Umaga, HBK, and to some extent Orton.
Batista shocked the world by working okay with Undertaker.
Finlay has been gold at times.
Punk has become more than just a darling of the NETTZ!!!1! Kennedy has been intermittently great.
Hardy has rehabilited his career, seemingly through just force of will.
MVP has gotten over.

Aside from ECW, which has usually been at least average, yeah, WWE's sucked this year. Raw, especially, has been sliding down a slippery slope of shit.

This kind of thread is why people make fun of the so-called "IWC".

This kind of thread is why people make fun of the so-called "IWC". Eh... people are entitled to their opinion. It's just that: A - Oftentimes the most opinionated people on the internet (not saying that's anyone here) can't fathom/take that someone would have a different opinion B - Often this opinion is taken for fact, and becomes fact in the eyes of many. C - S-nit-sky.

I found it funny when he says "What has made 2007 a good year? I can't think of anything except..." and then proceeds to name five of their most prominent guys.

This kind of thread is why people make fun of the so-called "IWC". Most people that make fun of the IWC probably are part of the IWC. I'm not too sure non-IWCers are aware of its existence.

I put IWC in quotes for a reason. I'm not sure I believe that people posting about wrestling on the internet really neccessitates it's own term.
