This kind of thread is why people make fun of the so-called "IWC". Eh... people are entitled to their opinion. It's just that: A - Oftentimes the most opinionated people on the internet (not saying that's anyone here) can't fathom/take that someone would have a different opinion B - Often this opinion is taken for fact, and becomes fact in the eyes of many. C - S-nit-sky. No, I understand people having diffrent opinions and thats cool maybe I should have phrased it diffrently. I'm just so fed up with WWE is right now and I'm not trying to say what I'm saying is fact it's just my opinion. I just feel the product of WWE is so crappy lately, I could forgive that but, they seem to be imbevilent to the controversey they are under and just don't try to change things or just mock it. Thats wrong and they need to wake up. Thats why honestly I'm not watching any WWWE programming on tv other than maybe ECW. I found it funny when he says "What has made 2007 a good year? I can't think of anything except..." and then proceeds to name five of their most prominent guys. 5 things does not make a year good and 3/5 of the guys did/would get jobbed out to John Cena, plus wrestling is about the main event and it well sucks balls.

The first half of the year going into Wrestlemania was interesting, but since then it's been really bleh,IMO.
Nothing to get me to the point where I want to order a PPV.

I agree with the title of this thread.
Besides Cena and Jeff Hardy, I don't give a goddamn about anyone on either roster.
Oh, and Punk's okay too.

Of course they're part of the IWC. I am... I'm just smarter than the average bear. And I'm the elephant that never forgets. I'm the little engine that could. I am... the one and only!

The only thing that's keepin' me watchin' the WWE is havin' to updtate the listeners of my radio show up in Buffalo. If it was up to me, the show would be a mix of ROH, Indy, and classic talk, but everyone that calls up invariably has a question such as "When is Cena losing the title?" or "When is The Undertaker coming back?". So it doesn't look like I will be able to change formats any time soon...

I will say that I've bought fewer Pay-Per-Views this year than I have in many, many years. The only ones I've bought were Wrestlemania (which I regretted) and Summerslam. The cards just don't really appeal to me. It wasn't until Raw drafted Lashley away from ECW that I found myself actually getting into any of the shows again. I'm all for the brand extension and the numerous opportunities it opens up, but for that run where you had Batista, Lashley, and Cena as the respective champions of each brand...that was probably the closest I've ever come to just throwing up my hands and saying "I don't want to watch this anymore. It's excruciating sitting through these shows and watching all the guys I like get buried every week."

Well, to be fair, the WWE is in midst of a scandal and are just bouncing back from the whole Chris Benwhat situation a couple months ago. I remember everything until that happened was really good. And then, a slump.
I'll never give up on the E. And will probably watch until i'm the ripe age of 80.

Everyone's opinion is subjective. Not everybody is going to agree with what you think. And because you may think a certain way doesn't make it fact. There seems to be a small percentage of folks here who earnestly feel that if you don't agree with them, you're wrong. I don't think that's the case at all. And look, I don't mind a good, clean debate either. I'll gladly defend my opinions without resorting to childish name calling and backhanded comments. I don't need to insult somebody to get my point across. I respect everyone's opinions here. I may not agree that 2007 is the worst year in the WWE's history (I still think 1993-95 was atrocious) and I may scoff at the validity of the IWC (I still find the works of Mark Twain to be less fictional), but that doesn't mean that I am right and you are all wrong. It simply means that this is what I think. And anyone who disagrees with me can burn in hell

Seriously what a horrible product WWE has had this year. Nothing has been worth the money and with WWE being the mess off screen why are people supporting this product? Seriously why? No matches this year except the Cena-HBK match on Raw has stood out for me and I can barely remember most of the main events in the PPv's except in most likely had Cena and Batista in them. I mean I know people say the worst year for WWE was in 1995, but no way 2007 is much worse, I mean at least in 1995 we had Micheals in his prime, Bret Hart at his best, an underated champ in Diesel, decent tag team wrestling, an okay midcard with Owen Hart, British Bulldog, Razor Ramon, Million Dollar Corporation, Jeff Jarret, an awesome heel Jerry Lawler. Honestly what has made 2007 a good year? I can't think of one thing, maybe the emergence of Matt Hardy, Kennedy, Punk, Umaga and Bobby Lashley. Other than that nothing, 2007 was dominated by death, suspensions and firings over steriods and a lot of injuries. The main event Wrestlemania feuds say hi.

Seriously what a horrible product WWE has had this year. Nothing has been worth the money and with WWE being the mess off screen why are people supporting this product? Seriously why? Because different people have different tastes and some people like where WWE is heading and has been heading. Probably the majority do. It's just that the majority don't hang out on the net and talk about it like we do. Other than that nothing I for one have enjoyed the new ECW quite a bit. I can't talk about Smackdown since I don't watch the show anymore. I have enjoyed the undercard on RAW and I did go from disliking Umaga completely to liking his character. Seriously though... if you don't like the product, don't support it. Don't watch it. Don't talk about it, spreading the word further. Send a politely-worded email to their Comments area on wwe.com and let them know your issues. No, it's not going to cause an instant change in the product, but if enough people do then there's a chance that word may eventually filter up the grapevine. Hold up- they actually have a comments area?!?
