I agree with the title of this thread. Besides Cena and Jeff Hardy, I don't give a goddamn about anyone on either roster. Oh, and Punk's okay too. WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE JEFF HARDY?! "Is that Edge?" ;D People know what my opinion is of WWE's product right now. I don't need to repeat it.

I put IWC in quotes for a reason. I'm not sure I believe that people posting about wrestling on the internet really neccessitates it's own term. Internet Wrestling Community. You post on a meassgae board even ONCE...congrats..you apart of the IWC...the "land" of the smarks. IWC fans are 20 times better than casual viewers anyway. SOME ( not many) seem to know wrestling better than wrestling bookers themselves. Oh and 2007 has been absouloutly attrocious..you have to look into the right places...sure the in ring prouduct has improved greatly....but if you think long term and look DEEP into the product..you'll see that they are actually headed to its death death. All of these tri branded ppvs....overuse of storylines ( over done storylines that people have seen 100 thousand times). And most importantly...the barely monthly ppvs which give fueds zip time to grow...cause fans not to care about the ppv...not only that...but 95% of the ppvs are over glorified 3 hour raws. And finally...the overkill of Mcmahon and Cena...it seems good now...but mark my words...if Cena holds the strap till the end of the year...08 will be ugly. Maybe you all haven't heard the go away heat hes been getting at various arenas over the past year or so. I'm not even going to elaborate on the out of ring incidents...they speak for themselves....what the business as a whole is going through is an all time worst...and the futures not looking bright. Oh and to the morons who belittle and poke fun at smarks....maybe you should use your logic and "Not support it..and leave it alone" thoery on wrestling boards. If you see someone babbling and bitching about the prouduct or someone degrading the casual viewers (marks)...DON'T DRAW ATTENTION TO IT....leave it be...friggen hypocrites. Face it....the web is filled with these people...EVERY wrestling board has them and some benefit greatly from them...I like it here alot...but honest to christ..this is the most...no scratch that...ONLY board I've ever seen with so much smark hate.

Yeah it sucks considering how could 2006 was, espicially the first half. That first half of 06 was the best run RAWs had since 02... This is the comment that makes this thread null and void. Because I'm sure there was a thread last year about how horrible 2006 was and I'm sure someone made a comment similar to "the first half of 2005 was great." and then it repeated the year before that and the year before that and will continue to repeat next year. I'm not saying your opinion is wrong, just that it's a terrible cycle that seems to go on around here. In 10 years people will be talking about how great 2007 was in comparison to the current product in 2017.

Though now that you mention it, I don't think the TV's been that bad. This might be looked back on as some kind of Silver Age for Raw. Smackdown was great until the draft. ECW's been hitting it's stride. But the PPV's have seriously been the utter suxx0rz.

This kind of thread is why people make fun of the so-called "IWC". God forbid anybody actually dislike the current product.

There's been far worse. It's been a lame year, but it's had plenty of highlights.

How about we all just place ourselves under the umbrella of "wrestling fans" aside from our different tastes? I'm starting to see the need for factions less and less. EDIT: Yes, I know that makes me sound like a wuss, but I think it's a good idea. (What is wrong with the filters?)

I don't have to repeat my opinion of the WWE's product, but I do always say this: if the product doesn't appeal to you, doesn't line up with your particular tastes in what you feel wrestling should be, then do what I did: FIND AN ALTERNATIVE.
There are tons, and I mean TONS of alternatives out there. Some might cost you some cash, but not some ridiculous amount that'll stop you from missing your rent payments or something. There's wrestling out there that appeals to people who enjoy comedy, who enjoy hard hitting style, who enjoy logical storylines, who enjoy whatever the hell you want to say. They're all out there, and it doesn't take long to find them.
Hell, you've got a whole forum here with a lot of people who are very knowledgeable about these companies. Come on over to the (w)rest section and ask us!
Trust me, it beats walking away from Raw every week feeling angry, or thinking after Smackdown "There's two hours I'll never get back."
Now, if you really enjoy it, then great, enjoy by all means. But if it's anathema to you...help the overall well being of this industry and find a new company to support!

For me personally I haven't enjoyed the product at all this year. Bits and pieces here and there, Edge winning the title for one but other than that, I've just been bored. I've rarely watched Raw or Smackdown and only watch PPVs because I get them free. I wouldn't see PPVs if I had to pay for them. I'm constantly let down and dissapointed and everyone I want to win never does so it's useless for me. I understand a lot may enjoy the product right now and kids love it no matter what, but for me personally I just can't.
