I lost a ton of respect for him when I heard this promo. They had a decent match the night before, it ends with that great moment of them shaking hands and HBK saying "I just had to know who the better man was."
He comes out the next night.....and takes a huge s*** all over the whole thing.

Michaels? Being a whiny bitch? This must be the first time that's ever happened.

HBK is a bitch - always has been - always will be. Cena beating him was probably the best thing I ever saw - plus I was there, but still.

Hogan giving the Clique a taste of their own medicine was great, even though he's no better than they are.

I kinda just laughed at this because I hate Hogan. Still disrespectful though. Shawn Michaels should know as the religious man he supposedly is that an eye for an eye isn't always the right path to follow.

Michaels absolutely owned Hogan in every single aspect of that feud. On the mic, in the ring, and all things credibility. Not to mention that Shawn was going to have to be around to face the backlash of the match while Hogan skipped along his merry way with his paycheck. So for Shawn to have to go in there and do the job to Hogan was an abomination. He deserved to say and do whatever he wanted that next night. There is no reason in hell Hogan should have won that match.

It's one thing to have sour grapes about something, it's another to go on air and bury the match you had the night before and dismiss it as if it didn't happen.
Incredibly petty, on the part of Shawn.

There is no reason in hell Hogan should have won that match. Why should HBK have won? The rub from winning that match pretty much expired sometime around 1997. It was meant to be a dream match. Neither guy really benefits or loses anything by having winning it or losing it. HBK just showing once again what kind of person he really is, despite all of his claims to the contrary. Maybe Hogan shouldn't have won and then left, but HBK has changed now, remember? He could have been the bigger man, but, he's not and it shows.

And I know to smarks out there and "workrate" fiends they would've loved to see Shawn beat Hogan clean, but in the context of the storyline it would've made 0 sense, as HBK was the heel cheap-shotting and insulting Hogan at nearly every turn, HBK had to lose and of course showing how much of a sore loser he is, goes and whines the next night about it. Plus, in terms of bigger names, HBK is nowhere near Hogan. But of course,if someone cut a promo on him like that he'd be up in arms for sure crying foul.

Put Hogan on Raw cutting that same promo. We'd see this video posted once a week for the rest of our lives with people dumping all over Hogan and how selfish and petty he is. It's like how people said HBK was "in the right" for legit blowing off Cena after their Wrestlemania match because Cena "deserved it."

MIchaels comes across as a bit of a dick, but when Hulk Hogan (the uber dick) is the victim, I simply can't feel sorry for the guy. Although, if he shook his hand etc, it is very hypocritical. I'd be interested to hear what the general opinion in the locker room is with regards to Hogan, I would imagine there's not a great deal of respect for the big orange walrus.

I always assumed that was just to indicate that their feud wasn't over, but I wouldn't be suprised if it was legit.

I'm guessing most people on here are adults? Interesting to see the amount of people who have brought their Hogan markness into adult life! lol

So by your logic, you have to be a kid to be a fan of Hulk Hogan. Doesn't make sense to me. It's not like what's being said about Shawn isn't true.

Isn't this the same guy who comically over sold a big boot during said match?
Yeah, Shawn. You're the very picture of credibility.
