"Chapter One.
So I wrestled for a few years then that son of a b**** Shawn Michaels was due to face me at Wrestlemania 12..."

Shawn used to make digs about Bret playing away all the time. I don't know if he was just doing it to be a d*** or he genuinely thought Hart was hypocrite.
I can kind of see his point if he was mad about the hypocrisy. Hart's going on about morality in wrestling, and how DX set a bad example and all the while he's cheating on his wife every chance he gets.

Hart has a story to tell and I hope he is honest. I doubt though that it's going to be anything other than various chapters which basically say "Why it's everybodies fault but mine"

I was always a Bret Hart fan and I hate to believe that certain things he has done are true. When I heard of Davy Boy and Bret doing speed (my first hearing of Bret doing any kind of drugs) before their match at SS 92, I think i died a little.

Looks like I've got that and Jericho's book to look forward to.

$5 says he calls Bubba Dudley an asshole. What's the backstory with him and Bubba? I haven't heard.

Hm, I have the bad feeling the book will radically change my take on Bret as a person.

Extract: "Chapter One. So I wrestled for a few years then that son of a b**** Shawn Michaels was due to face me at Wrestlemania 12..." That would be the great hook. That everything in his life revolved around that son of a B Shawn Michaels. "Sure, learning to drive was pretty cool, but that son of a B Shawn Michaels led his Little League team in stolen bases that year, so it wasn't that great. Shawn steals my spotlight again..."

Now I'm not the biggest Hart fan (In fact I hate him) but I'm looking forward to this book. There are only two ways this can turn out. 1. Bret grows some Mahoneys and starts thinking how other poeple feel about some events, and why they did what they did or said what they said. This would maybe completly change my oppinion about the man. 2. He goes on pregnant doging about everything in his life that went wrong. This hopefully would make people realise that he is just a bitter old has been, which doesn't appericate the things life gave him at all. Kind of like the Ultimate Warrior without the epeleptic attacks. So no matter how this turns out: I WIN.

He's already made his peace with Vince and said he understands why he did what he did and said that Vince understands Bret's point of view also. A lot of idiotic wrestling fans can't seem to grasp this and like to complain about Bret "whining".

Sure he made up with VinnieMac because it was getting unrealistic. But still in every interview i've read about him. He's just going all emo about all kinds of stuff. He even did it on his own freakin DVD Boxset. Bysides it's pretty hard to not like Bret here in germany. Everybody and there cousin in an other city loves the guy. So when you say just one bad thing about him to an other fan, you are in deep trouble. I'm talking Frankenstein movie climax here. Angry mob and torches. So maybe I'm a little bitter myself. On the other hand I as off late wasn't even half as lucky in live as he was.

In this case Vince, his son in-law, and their gay buddy HBK get to write everything they want about Bret and paint him as a bitter whiner. The fact is, every point HBK and the other f***s brought up against Bret were hypocritical, lies/half truths, or both.

I almost don't want to read this. Bret Hart was my childhood hero. He was favorite wrestler by far. I want to read this book but I don't want it to drastically change my view on him. I tried reading his sister's book once..and she painted Davey Boy to be a horrible person. I had to stop reading it because it was ruining my childhood.
