Dumb. He's already made his peace with Vince and said he understands why he did what he did and said that Vince understands Bret's point of view also. A lot of idiotic wrestling fans can't seem to grasp this and like to complain about Bret "whining". You'd almost think -oh, I dunno- that the fans obsess more over Montreal than Bret ever did. I've been waiting a long time for this book. I'll definetly be reading it The Day. *GASP* you think so? ever since Bret and Vince made up, it seems like every time there´s talk about Bret, they always bring up the post montreal whining more and more. I´m obviously not as fanatic, marky or smarky as most people in this thread it seems. I got NO expectations about how this book will be. and you know what? instead of guessing about how it will be like, I´m atually gonna READ it to find out. also, by the way these anti-Hart marks here are and saying stuff like "800 chapters will be about how much HBK sucks", you´d think HBK was the most important, closest and dearest person EVER in Hart´s life. Which I seriously doubt he was...

Diana's book has NO credit to it, according to virtually anyone but her. I've read excerpts. Pure, unadulterate BS. Is that the one where only her and... Owen I think? were good, and every other hart was drug dealing baby killers? It is... I read some chapters and it looked a bit too biased and over the top. BUt who knows...

How great would it be if Bret made absolutely no mention of Montreal in his book. I, for one, would find it refreshing. After all he dealt with that situation in "Wrestling With Shadows" and a majority of those who are going to buy his book have allready seen it or have at least heard his take on it.
I would definitely appreciate not having to hear about Montreal again in this book.

I'm not surprised. This board bashes Hogan, Flair, Shawn, so Bret isn't going to get away scotch free. What people fail to realize is that if it wasn't for these people, the current wrestlers wouldn't be making half as much as they are.

I can't wait for the book. He'll probably write like one chapter about the events of Montreal (and only because people will be EXPECTING it of him) and the HBK fanboys will claim he dedicated the whole book to it, haha.

You can sometimes end a comedy rim-shot by striking the bell of the ride cymbal, which results in a high-pitched "CHING" sound.

All I know is the guy wrestled with his mouth hanging open 90 percent of the time.
Very disturbing.

All I know is the guy wrestled with his mouth hanging open 90 percent of the time. Very disturbing. That was his technique to put on endurance matches like the Iron Man match, and not tire out easily. He made sure his mouth was wide open, so he could gulp in more air, than just through his nostrils.

All I know is the guy wrestled with his mouth hanging open 90 percent of the time. Very disturbing. Yeah, he had the John McClane thing going on. It's funny someone else noticed that, it was very annoying. As for his book, I won't read it. I've never read nor will ever read a wrestling book. I know it's going to be their perspective so I know I'll never get the truth about things, or even if I am I'll be skeptical to believe it.

Does that mean you alson avoid talking to people? Because no matter when the only thing you'll always get is the perspective of the person you are talking to.

No.
Not the best comparison there. I know what you're trying to say but no. Wrestling books are filled with lies and stories completely contradict each other so it's rather a useless endeavour reading them.

Sunny has stated that she has slept with Shawn and never Bret, even though she did idolize him.

I was always a Bret Hart fan and I hate to believe that certain things he has done are true. When I heard of Davy Boy and Bret doing speed (my first hearing of Bret doing any kind of drugs) before their match at SS 92, I think i died a little. Then you might not wanna read this post. Actually - and this is relatively unconfirmed, so take it with a grain of salt - I once heard that Bret, both Bulldogs, and Junkyard Dog smoking crack together in a hotel room. Again, that is unconfirmed, but given the speed story, I'm inclined to believe it somewhat.

I will certainly buy this book regardless along with the Jericho one and Batista one (I am really looking forward to the Batista one in particular as I suspect it is going to be so histerically awful I wont be able to help but love it).
Does anyone have a release date for the Bret book - UK if known? Thanks

I definitely trust your opinion on the subject since you've never read one. As long as you're sharing your wisdom with us, could you give me some travel tips relating to someplace you've never been or reccomend any good movies you haven't seen?
