I think we'd learn that "loss =/= burial"
* Noble has been consistently on TV lately, so even though he's been losing, it's still better than doing nothing.
* Carlito lost to DH Smith, and seems to be on a future resident of MidcardVille, but in the end, somebody has to take that spot, and it's NOT a burial. More like a step back in terms of prestige and visibility, but to each his own I guess...
* Jericho himself said Steph's involvement during his Undisputed reign was HIS IDEA, so unless Y2J is a masochist and he sabotaged the peak of his own career, I think we'd bury forever the history about Trips burying Jericho for whatever reason.
* D-X "buried" the whole tag team division around 2006... Cade&Murdoch, the Highlanders and the Spirit Squad... teams who were so damn hot before that damn D-X came around. They were on the verge of becoming today's British Bulldogds/Hart Foundation/Demolition... Sure.
Anyway, Spirit Squad were indeed buried (boxed to be accurate) but that was because WWE felt the gimmick had run its course and the 5 guys had to be taken off tv and eventually repackaged.
Knox got some SCM at Survivor Series and probably suffered the quickest elimination in history. How many man can claim that? I bet it'll be the highest point of his career.
Off the top of my head I can't think of a REAL burial, where the goal was only making the guy look bad, for no acceptable reason.
And no, losing a title match at Mania, no matter how, isn't a f'n burial!

Nobody's mentioned Moppy yet? Great thing about that one was that Perry Saturn had to be re-buried, because Moppy actually got him over.

Carlito after getting his ass kicked by HHH and then losing to a new comer. Nah. not really. That's about as far as Carlito's "talent" goes. He only has barely enough talent to be on tv, let alone be pushed enough to beat Trips. Plus, along with his laziness and lack of work ethic and general bad attitude, he should be helping make others who might possibly contribute something look better

I wouldn't call that one a "burial", I'd call it "reality". You don't mess around with Butterbean! "Reality" or not, it was a total embarassment, and his career never recovered. His career was in the drain at that point anyways.

I've got to say Spirit Squad is my pick. I know, "they weren't on the verge of being the next Bulldogs" or whatever, but let's look realisitically.
Five young guys from OVW, some with more talent than others admittedly, get called up. They are given a nowhere, short term gimmick that is destined to be a joke. They are summarily squashed by Trips and HBK week after week after week, and are made fun of at every single turn.
Burial? Maybe not technically, since they'd have had to be given a chance at some point. But they got freaking submarined bigger than hell for the sole purpose of "getting over" two already very established guys.

-Shannon Moore getting slapped by CM Punk. They might as well have castrated him on live TV. Funny how WWE actually HAS done a live (kayfabe) castration. "I choppy choppy your pee-pee!"

I have to second Booker T and HHH at Mania, that whole program actually. "You people" aren't on my level. "You people" can't be champion. "You people" should be carrying my bags. Well, one pedigree and a TWENTY SECOND CRAWL to the pin later, I guess he was right! Face it, Booker wasn't even close to that level again until he became King Booker. Knox at Survivor Series was another. "Who's that guy"?

Add to the list Jericho's departure from WWE after feuding with Cena. It made me quite sad to see Y2J (or Y2Cheap, as Cena uncreatively called him) go out like a sniveling helpless crybaby. I have a bad memory, but I vaguely remember something involving Jericho, Bischoff, and a trash truck. Anyway, I thought it was the lamest way to send Jericho off.

Jericho, the UNDISPUTED CHAMPION, being Stephanie McMahon's personal servant and picking up dogcrap while Hunter stole the limelight. Jericho's ENTIRE reign as Undisputed Champion was merely a backdrop and a footnote to the Hunter/Steph feud. Horrible. Touche!!! It was terrible.

As far as the Steph/HHH/Jericho angle Jericho also mentioned he didn't think it turned out the way it was intended. He was supposed to be Steph's lover, but he ended up being her lackey.
Moving on...
Khali pretty much got buried by Batista, he's not even on frequently anymore.
Hass seems to more or less just be "Shelton's Buddy" instead of tag partner.
Londrink seem to be getting buried on RAW.
Worst WWE burials in history go to DDP and Eugene(near the end Eugene couldn't pay guys to let him get offense in).

Can't we just let all the rants about Jericho's burial die after Y2J himself said it was his idea involving Steph and he enjoyed being carried away kicking and screaming?
Ok, the angle with Steph and Trips didn't work as he thought it would have, but FFS it wasn't HHH's power trip or something...

To be fair, if he is in fact coming back to the E(which seems a lock at this point) he's gonna tow the company line. He'll never get anywhere if he says "My undisputed title run was botched from hell". As far as kicking and screaming, I can see Jericho being cool with that, he liked playing a whiney heel.
