On the 22nd I turned 40. Then this post happened about one of the biggest movies of my preteen era. Damn.

Just got back from it and enjoyed it. I had no idea about the cliffhanger, but I'm glad they didn't rush the ending. I'm also glad I got off my ass to go see it. I didn't see the first one in the cinema and regretted that.

Do we count Cody/Sami/KO as an official stable? I haven't watched since Mania, have they still been working together since then?

Punk's sheer terror of being unmasked by Big Show and having his baldness exposed to the fans. Dude was 100% committed to the bit: I'm vaguely amused that the one time Punk didn't have terrible facial hair was also the time he was bald.

"Uploader has not made this video available in your country."
You know I see that a lot less often than a few years ago but it's still irritating.
Edit: Oh it looks like your first link works.

The Batman Beyond story has been around for months. I thought it was one of the potential movies scrapped when Gunn and Safran took over, along with MOS2. As in, there was no script or complete go ahead given, but they were in the very early stages of seeing if it could happen. Unless it's just the same wishful thinking that keeps going around and it was never planned at all. Probably wishful thinking.

Zuckerberg has been doing jujitsu training for a while now and presumably uses the best trainers that money can buy plus is 12 years younger. It would be a mismatch with all that in mind. Being a robot probably also gives Zuck a pretty big advantage.

If not for this thread, I wouldn't have known about the ai intro. That said, it was an alright beginning with some surprises. Although, I'm expecting surprises with this being secret Invasion.

I was coming out of Service Ontario (kinda like the DMV but not just for car stuff) and the person ahead of me didn't hold the door open. As soon as I exited, they noticed me and they apologized genuinely. Thank you for upholding the wonderful stereotypes of our good people XD.
Also, thank you to the sharp eyed bank teller who noticed my liscense and health card were set to expire tomorrow.

I haven't played this since it was new. However, it was a fantastic game from Square's golden era. If I had a Nintendo system I'd be super excited.

They should have just done a direct sequel to Batman Returns. I'm hearing people saying they missed the "window of nostalgia" for that, but I call bullshit. It's one of the most iconic comic book movies of all time. Dark Knight Returns meets the Burton Batman movies? Hell yeah. Or Keaton as aging Batman to kick off a live action Batman Beyond I know there's been calls in the past for a Batman Beyond with Keaton in the Bruce Wayne role. I think it'd be great.

I find it kind of interesting that for some, the end of the snyderverse means these movies don't matter. I understand why, but it's a phenomenon that we've never really seen before. It's the flipsife to the shared universe coin.
We've seen attempted shared universes fail to get off the ground, but now we have a string of movies essentially being written off because they won't have sequels or interconnected movies anymore. There are other reasons for their failures, but seeing this as one of the big reasons is kind of fascinating.
If I were an exec I'd be looking at the past 10-15 years and how things have changed very closely.

When I first heard the terms CIS and Cisgender, they were never used in a positive or even neutral sense. Often they were to exclude someone from a conversation, dismiss their opionion (sometimes rightfully, sometimes not) or as an insult. However, given that I didn't really know what it meant, I investigated and found that it was not a derogatory term. Some had used it in that sense but the term itself was simply a term used to describe something. I have since seen CIS and Cisgender used in neutral aspects.
This is not to excuse the above though. Someone in charge of something as big as twitter should be educating themselves before calling something a slur.

I just got around to the trailer. I wasn't expecting the Rhino. Though the brief glimpse we got makes me think more of the Lizard. I figure this is one I'll eventually get around to watching, but likely won't bother seeing it at the cinema.

Yeah, as cathartic as it might be for Roman to go down clean, he deserves to go down dirty after cheating for the past 3 years to hold onto the title.

Is there a story or is it pure sandbox with randomly generated quests?
God knows I've lost many many hours to Bethesda games, but I would like a story with an ending.

Sounds like they went to the Michael Bay School of Shut Up Nerd. Only nerds care about things like geography and time and logic. (It really would have made more sense for him to be Thomas)
The whole thing sounds like JJ Abrams and Star Trek. When asked how things were different in the Kelvinverse before the time travel occurred he explained the change went backwards in time as well. Well he did admit he wasn't a Star Trek fan and didn't get it, while he gushed about Star Wars. He even mentioned specifically trying to make Star Trek less Sci-Fi. I'm surprised WB didn't give him a job helming the DC universe considering.
But yeah, all he had to say was it was a reboot rather than a wizard did it.

So... I'm going to ask a question to those that saw the movie. Do they explain how Barry going back in time aged Bruce Wayne like 2 decades? Cause... that makes no sense... especially since Bruce should have already been like 20 at that point... Sounds like they went to the Michael Bay School of Shut Up Nerd. Only nerds care about things like geography and time and logic.

I love me some supernatural but Jensen Ackles? Really? I don't see it. If you've seen The Boys, article I read said he's on Gunn's short list because of his role as Soldier Boy. He definitely has the range. I've seen him in The Boys as Soldier Boy and he did a great job there. I just have a hard time picturing him as Batman. I'd still give him a chance to prove me wrong though.

People look at me askance, I think, when I see things like "Jensen Ackles is on the short list of being Gunn's next live action Batman" and go, "Please leave him out of this" but I really really don't want him tangled up in the mess that DC is currently. Hmm. I love me some supernatural but Jensen Ackles? Really? I don't see it.
