It's really frustrating sometimes in Canada, especially with linked stuff because sometimes the rights are everywhere. For example, when the Arrowverse was in full swing, two of the shows were on Netflix while the other two were on Crave. One of the four was updating weekly while the other 3 you had to wait until 2-3 months after the season ended. Super fun when they started doing crossovers.

Including marketing it's probably the first of the live-action movies to have made a loss at the box office. That's a shame as it was better than probably half of the Bay movies.

It's rare that something hits and everything I hear about it is positive. My computer is on the low end of what is needed to run it but I should be able to run the game. I'm thinking of picking it up sooner than later despite my incredible backlog.

We need more of this shit. Half the reason I gave up on radio is because too many of them pick a very narrow lane and stick to it. I love a lot of genres and eras and I want them all mishmashed together. I don't but only because I'm a radio dj and prefer my playlists to flow. I find it a turnoff if certain bands/songs are played after others and there's no flow. Flow is nice, but when every 3 songs there's a few minutes of commercials, there's only so much flow that can be accomplished. That said, we can have flow while mixing in other genres. It doesn't have to be wild turns from Metalica to Garth Brooks to Beyonce. But some variety would be nice.

That which were on Oldies stations in the 80’s is still the oldies genre. The 70’s, 80’s, and 90’s get the Classic label. I forget the label applied to music from the aughts and 2010’s, but some classics stations play that as well. Heck, the local station I listen the most doesn’t bother with labels. Half of what they play are modern rock and alternative songs (with a smattering of straight up pop music) while the other half are from the 60’s - 2010’s. It’s not uncommon to hear The Beatles followed by Nathaniel Raitliff followed by Laura Branegan followed by Tool followed by Adele. We need more of this shit. Half the reason I gave up on radio is because too many of them pick a very narrow lane and stick to it. I love a lot of genres and eras and I want them all mishmashed together.

Today my boss referred to a situation as a real Kobayashi Maru.

Even though 90s music is 30+ years old, the local alternative station still treats it as if it's fresh. The top oldies station stubbornly clings to 70s and 80s with 90s a close third. It probably also has to do with who listens to radio. I only really listen to radio these days if the app on my phone fails while I'm driving. A lot of the folks listening to radio would probably resonate with the 70s and 80s more in general so they stick with that audience.

It looked like Cody was the first one to pick up on this because he took the time to ally with Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn. Unfortunately, he forgot that there are 3 Uso brothers so he needed one more ally to negate the numbers game.
But yeah, this has been driving me nuts.

I don't know what all you guys are talking about. The 90s were only ten years ago!
But seriously, for most of us, realizing that the things we liked when we were young are now considered old or classic is a tough pill to swallow. We all know that time is passing but we're rarely acutely aware of how much time has passed. There's also a factor of realizing that in our society, we've been passed by. I'm 40 now, on the older edge of milennial. I know I'm not the target demographic for much of anything anymore, but it still hits different when I hear just how old certain things I love are. Hell if I went dancing at one of the clubs today, I probably wouldn't recognize any of the music, which is a shame because I love dancing.
As far as classics, I still mostly think of the 50 and 60s as classic because that's what it was when I was growing up.

Did Stretch Armstrong ever get a cartoon? I feel like there's potential there. I don't know if he got one originally but there was a cartoon in 2017 called Stretch Armstrong and the Flex Fighters.

Yeah, I just read through the debater stuff and while some small bits fit, large swaths of it, including their focus don't sound like me at all. Then again, I tend to take tests like this as something interesting but not something to base huge decisions around or anything. Fun diversion.

Part of the change is likely where you're at in life. I think the first question was something about meeting new people. 20 years ago I was meeting new people relatively frequently but now I'm 40 and working night shift. I can't remember the last time I had a chance to just meet someone new. Plus I'm a supervisor so my interactions with coworkers always have that hanging over us.
I got ENTP-T which I don't think really matches up with me. I honestly can't remember when I last did one of these, but I think some of it has maybe changed?

Is it Jey that can't visit Canada ? Just curious since Smackdown is in Toronto next week. Good way to keep him off tv at least one week. I think they were in Calgary this week, though I could be wrong.

Cersi & Jamie Lannister in the show (not read the books yet so not sure if either had been offed or not.) version of game of thrones, in a show where characters get horrific endings that some what mirror what their characters do during the show, they get squished by falling ceiling bits. not poisoned, not murdered by angry citizens of the city they ruled over (one that Cersi blew part of it up with wild fire), not eaten by white walkers that got turned into a zombie trope towards the end, no revenge gained on either by anyone they crossed.. just "you rolled a 1, rocks fall.. you die.". Crowley in Supernatural, in a show where no one ever stays dead he sacrifices himself to trap lucifer in an alternate dimension (fails) and that's it he's perma-dead. (technically he's a tweener and not an outright villain.) Missy in Doctor Who, shot in the back by an earlier/later version of the Master (not sure if they clarified it as it's been a while since I watched this episode.) supposedly preventing regeneration. If I recall correctly the Master who shot Missy is in the process of turning into Missy. It was sort of a he shot himself in the back, look how clever we are situation.

Now if they could just have an intervention with him about his ring gear, we'd be set. And about being a deadbeat dad. Dom deserves it with that haircut.

I have no idea how well Rey is doing right now but I'm glad a real living legend's getting some attention and respect still. I hope he's at least having a way better run than the mid '10s glass knees Rey who seemed like he was really past the good days. It's fun to dunk on him, but Rey's been moving great and having mostly really damn good matches. Now if they could just have an intervention with him about his ring gear, we'd be set.

Yeah, that's absolutely get heel heat, both for doing that with a title belt with a long history (counting the WCW era), and particularly for the xenophobia/racism aspect. Yeah but no one really cares about Canada. We get heat in the US, but not like Mexico would get, which is a whole different thing. Oh yeah, I totally realize why it would have a very different impact from the various Canadian champions. It was just a random thought.

I'm not a big fan of Dominic (though i can see why others are), but I do love the dynamic with the crowd. Dom opens mouth-incredily loud booing cuts him off. Someone else talks. Dom goes to speak-incredibly loud booing cuts him off. It is entertaining.

I have a feeling she's going to make an incredible heel like Bayley has. The hugger gimmick is horrible and people won't tolerate it at all now, one could argue Bayley struggled on the main roster with that gimmick until she had the heel turn everyone craved and people love her now more then they ever did as the hugger. There is something about Izzy which screams heel and I hope she goes that route as she will have far more success at the start of her career being one. To be fair, the main roster version of her hugger gimmick was over simplified and infantilized compared to NXT. NXT Hugger Bayley wouldn't have hesitated to use the kendo stick on Alexa for instance. It was the main roster basically writing her as a child/fan who was too innocent for this world that kinda sunk it.

So if Jey quits and Roman is going on yet another sabbatical, I guess we'll have Jimmy feud with Solo?
Also, Jimmy is an idiot.
