After what happened tonight I think its gonna be Reigns/Lesnar 2. Reigns wins the Rumble, then beats HHH at Fast Lane while Brock beats Sheamus at Rumble?
Mania season hype activate!

Roman/Sheamus should be a pretty dope match even though the build up has been weak. They had a stiff one a few months back on Raw and it was great

Big Match John or Seth Rollins?
Feel free to post other wrestlers that you think can contend but I think these two were a level ahead of everyone else this year. Who do you got?
Cena's US Open Challenges will be talked about for years to come. Both were involved in the Rumble 2015 triple threat. Rollins was fighting bad booking for most of the year with the power of great wrestling and got a great to decent match out of everyone he worked with.
Its neck and neck but I gotta give the edge to Cena. Seeing him participate in indy-esque spotfests has just been a mindf***....and pretty cool.

Not telling Brock the plan was wrong. And classic Vince. You don't think it was Cena going into business for himself? Thats what it came off like.

The story goes that Cena was supposed to get stretchered out after getting the ass whooping of a lifetime by Brock at ER '12. The time comes at the end and he ends up no selling a bit and saying some vague sympathetic shit on the mic. Brock reportedly gets pissed backstage. Cena's comments at the end go nowhere and the match means nothing in the big picture of things.
Were Cenas comments alluding to him taking time off due to injury, or was it Cena trying build up the Rock/Cena 2 "THEY TOOK MY JAWB" angle? Seems like this little situation had a bit of a ripple effect in watering down Brock at the start, as well as watering down the WM29 rematch quite a bit. Do you think it would've made a difference if he went through with the original plan? Was Cena just being a dick? 1989 Denver Broncos?
All I know is that it was confusing as hell live, and its still confusing now.

I've said it before and I will say it again: They have the next potential mega-star on their roster right now. {Spoiler}{Spoiler} I'm absolutely serious. Push him as a "Don't give a f***" badass in the vein of Lesnar/Stone Cold and he'd be huge (NO FAT JOKES!). The guy has "it" more than anyone on the current roster. Hell yeah. Austins physique wasn't great at all back during his rise, more on the skinny side. He still had that "larger than life" everyday man thing going for him, just like Owens does now. The only thing that is concerning in terms of Owens being "the man" is his knee problems that hes had even before WWE

I am going to be honest and just say it. Don't. The 80's have aged horribly. Go watch Mid South and World Championship Wrestling (not WCW) from the early/mid 80's. It's crap. There is no "camp" value in any of it like the footage that still exists of 70's, 60's or 50's pro wrestling. It consists of guys who are pasty, flabby, hairy and covered in bruises doing shitty matches in front of 60 people. Part of the charm back then was you didnt have to look like Vince's wet dream to be a pro wrestler. It made it more realistic. But the truth is, the territory promoters never put their best shit on cable TV. They used their 1 hr of time to hype live events. So all you'll ever see is no contests and dusty finishes loaded with interference to help sell tickets to whatever card was featured at the local armory. Well shit. Looks like its a you had to be there kinda thing then. The promos from that time can't be that bad though right?

What did you guys think about the Castignoli/Hero matches back in 2011? Man these are soooooo boring. All that slow, plodding build up for nothing.
Also Willie Mack is so damn awesome. Really want to see him down in NXT. That pop he got at BOLA 2011 was special.
Whats your guys favorite year of PWG overall?

People either forget, or pretend to forget, how genuinely over Rowan was for a few weeks there. Shame they had Big Show kill him dead. Hell Ryback and Ziggler were top guy levels of over for those few weeks too. They don't make them like they used to....
