In general I don't see a benefit to ever doing it these days. Everyone watching knows what's on TV isn't real, and it's not like, say, after Breaking Bad ended Bryan Cranston went into hiding to help sell the show's ending. That's true but it's also true that he wasn't trying to sell a ppv with the ending of Breaking Bad. I think kayfabe is at least important for little kids because when it comes right down to it, without the believability we're really just watching jacked up oily guys pretend wrestle in their underwear. I don't mind hindsight not being in kayfabe, like I enjoy hearing about how much Bret Hart and Steve Austin liked working together now but if in 1997 they had been doing interviews and Austin had been talking about how awesome it was to be working with a guy like Bret it really would've dampened the feud. Yup thats the problem nowadays. Seeing Bayley and Sasha being friends on Twitter after Sasha trying to kill her at Takeover...What the f*** brah?

Yup with a teddy bear, he'd always put me over.
Nowadays I wrestle with my little bro. Once he hit a flying headbutt straight to the floor and got a bloody nose from it after I got out of the way botching a spot putting a pillow where he was supposed to land. Luckily he didn't cry or complain so I avoided my mom killing me. I've gotten a deep cut in my lip and like two bloody noses from him when he gave me some stiff Shining Wizards. Tough little dude.

Well, Jericho to a degree, but that's more because he's a troll than anything. Personally I think kayfabe is dead and should be treated like it. Don't give up on it....it would never give up on us... </3

There's only a select few wrestlers that still live under kayfabe when they do public appearances and such. Who are the wrestlers that treat being a wrestler as more than just an acting role? Bayley just said she loved to be in the ring with Eva Marie.....KEEP KAYFABE ALIVE BAYLEY DAMNIT
Kevin Owens- Talks shit about Sami Zayn during public appearances Sami Zayn- See above Roman Reigns- Still loves Deaner, hates Seth in interviews Seth Rollins- Hates the Shield guys still Dean Ambrose- He's the best at this I've seen. Totally in character 100% Stardust- Check out the Booker T podcast with him. Hilarious stuff Undertaker- Undertaker
Is there any more that still like to participate in the dying art of kayfabe?

No one. WWE's already living out it's nostalgia fetish with The Dudleys and The Undertaker. Let's not empty out the retirement home any more. You say that as if Finlay wasn't one of the best in ring workers back in 2006 at damn near age 50 I hope Tajiri comes back. He's been working indies lately and left the WWE on good terms.

Alot of people forget that during the build up to Reigns vs Lesnar Heyman was putting over Bryan as a legit, credible opponent for Lesnar calling him the ultimate underdog and a submission specialist. Even said he would love to see the match. They're definitely saving Bryan/Lesnar as an ace in the hole if those Heyman promos are any indication. It means nothing.Heyman says whatever he wants. Heyman thinks it is a great idea, and he is right, but it does not reflect what WWE thinks Damn, you're right for sure. Only time will tell

Oh come on, back to NXT though? Serious? Wtf? To be fair vs Balor vs Joe (after a quick google search it looks like they never faced eachother in the indys despite both being indy legends and having long careers outside of WWE/TNA. I bet they would have an incredible match and Zayn would sell Joe's offense like death) vs Crews vs La Sombra etc are all matches I want him to have, so I am kind of happy he is going back to NXT. But I do hope he is on the main roster by Rumble and is on the mania card against Owens Theres plenty of time for all of those matches on the main roster. As long as he's on there by Rumble and has the Owens match at WM32 then whatever.....but him going back to NXT would just a cruel joke at this point. Wasn't the Cena match his official debut?

Bryan/Lesnar will probably happen at one point given Bryans health is okay.
And it will be GOAT

Things will change for sure once Vince bows out. It won't be HHH/Steph at the helm though, it'll be Shane O'Mac. Tradition.

We have like 15 years of proof already This is true, but people seem to think COO Triple H is different. Some say Triple H started the Indie Revolution, Maggle!

I will really, genuinely be done if this happens. And it would be definitive proof that he cares about himself more than the company. We have like 15 years of proof already

If he really wanted to he could've (would've?) during his 2011/2012 run. I think we're safe.

Booking 101 dictates that Bork has a more legit claim to being #1 contender than anyone else right now.... -Was never pinned to lose the title... -Gets shot against guy who weasels title from him, only for it to end without a decisive finish because of outside interference/revenge I'm sure, eventually, they'll get back to that...but still...baffles me why (in kayfabe) Heyman isn't out there every week screaming this. They had to get that plucky upstart The Undertaker over.
