Starrcade '89. Nothing on the card but a singles and tag team round robin tournament so you see the same 4 guys/teams wrestle over and over all night. Lame.

That would be nice because then you could do your own commentary for laughs.

I learned that the guy who played Sabertooth in X-Men was a wrestler named "Nitron". Had no clue who Nitro was so looked him up online.

Was nice to start a PPV I was watching yesterday but didn't finish and have it bookmark where I left off. Also at the end of the PPV it started to play it again. Never seen it to that before.

It's literally called "Darth Vader's Theme (Imperial March)". I don't think of it as his theme really though. He didn't have it in the first film and it was clearly being used as a theme for the Empire itself.

TNA used a remix of it for "The Band".

Wish they would do a Top 10 real fan run-ins list. They would also be Macho Man matches of course.

I think they are in the process of inserting back in some of the Slam Jam themes on WCW events. I read that as "in the process of inserting back in some of the Slim Jim ads".

That Terry Funk was saying the "I'm middle aged and crazy" line at least as far back as '89.

WCW (or maybe just Jim Ross) were hypocrites. At Bash of the Beach '89 Jim Ross goes on about how they actually wrestle there and don't have "snakes or pets" (obvious shot at WWF) only for Ricky Steamboat to make an entrance later carrying a Komodo dragon.

That Rick Steiner had a simpleton gimmick early on. At least I think he stopped doing the gimmick at some point . . . or that it was a gimmick.

Realistically he would of went straight to the nWo and probably take Paul Bearer with him because you can never have enough people standing around in the background while Hogan is speaking on the mic. His character probably would of been more Biker Taker-like if only to make him seem more gangster-like.

I never realized Bam Bam Bigelow was in the NWA in 1988. Always thought of him as a "WWF guy" until he showed up in WCW in 99 or 2000. Also didn't realize was in the WWF before '88. I thought he was a New Generation era guy.

I never knew that WCW PPV's had closing credits. I smile every time I see Virgil Runnels in the list. That and if I was older and lived in America, I would have loved WCW in the early 90s, roster is stacked. Some of the early WWF PPVs had credits too though I think they were shown in the middle of the show.
