so there's supposed to be some sort of team fortress 2 event going on this weekend.
this is very tempting... but I'm afraid of being a n00b in a game that's very team focused.

So, what's everyone's consensus on Napoleon: Total War?
I'm hearing, from total war fans, that the game seems like it should be an expansion to empire total war, but it still looks pretty interesting since it's freaking napoleon!

Oh, Deadly Friend...you know, way back when I was doing franchise reviews I did a Wes Craven thread, and some people asked why I didn't include the misses as well as the hits...this film included. I honestly can't remember what I said in response, but the truth is that while I have seen Deadly Friend, I barely remember it. I'll never forget, however, my brother bringing this video home from our awesome in-mall video store that is now sadly defunct (this place had a stock so awesome that it had a friggin' NINJA MOVIE SECTION). I was either six or seven at the time, so this thing HAD to have been one of the first horror films I saw (the first was Children of the Corn). The flick's plot particulars escape me, but there's no doubt I had loads of fun watching it, or I wouldn't be the loser I am right now. TR's story time is over. Carry on. You should re-watch it just for the basketball scene and the ending. Hell, the basketball scene may be the pinnacle of cheesy horror film scenes.

I think it's funny that when GameTrailers did their Top 10 Bloodiest Games, 3 of them are on the Wii (No More Heroes, MadWorld and Onechanbara). Well, there sure isn't any blood in my copy of No More Heroes because we got the "original" version (as opposed to the American version which apparently had the splatter effects added to it) in Europe. This certainly has nothing to do with our German friends whose video game laws were the reason games like Ninja Gaiden were censored over here, no sir, we get the real, original version of the game because Suda51 likes us so much! Who wants to see blood in a game more or less based on El f***ing Topo anyway? Actually, the lack of blood effects doesn't really bother me that much during gameplay and it is a good game with or without blood, but some of the more violent cutscenes look pretty silly when there is no blood or gore whatsoever. what do you mean look weird? I don't see what's so weird about it.

or if you want a history of brother voodoo from a chronological perspective you can still get the essential zombie collection marvel put out a while ago.
The original comics were in black and white from what I remember, so you're not really missing anything.

How could modded consoles start a modern warfare 2 exploit if A) most of the modded console users got console banned when modern warfare 2 got launched. B) If you were to really go about "hacking" an infinite ammo glitch using a modded console, you would have to have bootlegged a modern warfare 2 file, edit it, and then put it on a console which miraculously didn't get banned. It just makes no sense how modded consoles could've done ANYTHING with the glitches in this game. As you said, only most of them were banned. Console modders are like cockroaches or a virus. You leave some of them alive(unbanned), they'll continue and grow stronger, and adapt. MS should've banned all of them. How many people do you know that had modded consoles? everyone I know that had one got banned. It was uncanny, plus numbers came out that they banned over 1 million consoles when MW2 was released. I HIGHLY doubt that the people who remained were smart enough to force a hack on modern warfare 2.

Makes IW look extremely cocky in hindsight for refusing to do a public beta, now don't it? Except this one would have happened even if they did do a beta seeing how it got started due to modded consoles. huh? the subs seem fine, and the show is free on crunchy roll with commercials so... what are you talking about? The sub quality on most series on Crunchy Roll is really bad. it seems fine to me!

ok I listened to anime vice's podcast and they were talking about how great skip-beat! was so I decided to watch it on crunchy roll, and yes it is very good. I don't know if it'll work out all that well over multiple viewings seeing how crazy everyone acts in this show, but I'm finding it entertaining. EDIT: ok this show is really really good lol. But I find it weird how it sounds like the composer is ripping of shoji meguro at certain points. Crunchy Roll does have some problems with the subs to barely fansub qualitiy and charging is just plain wrong. huh? the subs seem fine, and the show is free on crunchy roll with commercials so... what are you talking about?

well folks, I just got done watching wes craven's magnum opus "Deadly Friend". that film is ridiculously entertaining, down to the end credits song. I still have that sitting next to my DVD player, waiting to be watched. I got about a month ago, but it got pushed aside for the Christmas horror movies. Rest assured, I'll have it watched and reviewed before the New Year. you will laugh your ass off watching that thing.
