At the time a criticism among wrestling fans was that WCW just had too many titles. This wasn't just a Russo thing but fairly common belief among the fandom at the time as well. The Television Title was the most obvious one to cut, since as a non-gimmicked singles mid-card title it seemed redundant with the US Title. But since Russo is Russo, instead of giving it an exciting final exit, or even just quietly retiring it, he had to get rid of it in the most disrespectful and pointless way possible. TV title should be a gimmick title IMO though. Whereas a hardcore title is great for your garbage wrestlers (guys who are good entertainers but crap wrestlers can hit each other with cookie sheets) the TV title should be for your workhorses. Guys who can go and give you a great match on TV every week and have it be different enough to not get boring. Bro, no one cares about great matches. You know what great matches are great for, bro? People changing the channel or putting me to sleep, bro.

That was the first one that came to my mind. I’d add Bischoff and Flair. I don’t think they’re best friends or anything, but they buried the hatchet.

Godfather would be another good choice as the Kama character. What is Val Venus up to these days? He's basically the Rick Rude of the 90s so he would be perfect returning in a suit as muscle for someone like Sami Zayn, Ziggler, Ryder or Balor. He runs a medical marijuana dispensary in Arizona.

Story I'd always heard was that he was the "oh ok, him too" part of the Radicalz deal in 2000. Benoit and Eddie were the gets, Malenko had value, Saturn was....just there, so pretty much instant cannon fodder once the group disbanded. Bruce Prichard on STWW has said a few times that Saturn was second behind Benoit on who they were most interested in of that group.

I’m pretty sure Vince thinks he was in it.

It was Champion vs Champion, pal, not title vs title. It was stated by Vince in the Wrestlemania VI opening,"Champion vs. Champion, Title for Title!" Huh? Well, you know...

Also, the WM6 match was Title vs. Title. There would be no real advantage to giving Hogan the IC Title - he'd just have to forfeit it back under the rules of the day, and Warrior's momentum would have been destroyed, which everyone would then blame Hogan for. It was Champion vs Champion, pal, not title vs title.

Bret was supposed to name every president in order before Backlund would agree to say I quit. Bret got confused and started naming Canadian Prime Ministers instead.

I just laughed thinking of Jim Cornette’s reaction to seeing a thread about funny Kane moments.

Would have been Nash if they had done the right thing and put the strap on him ever.

Just last night I dreamt that Crow-era Sting and Luger were a tag team feuding with the nWo. They had a pay per view tag match with the classic one guy hits his partner and it’s clearly an accident, but you know it’s going to lead to the team breaking up spot. Sting took this as Luger turning on him (can you blame Sting for being suspicious - apparently dream Sting is less naive than real Sting). Sting called Luger out on Nitro. Later in the show Sting was fighting off nWo members. Luger ran out to help him but then they almost came to blows. Ric Flair came out and made peace between them and the three agreed to team up to fight the nWo.
