Just heard that Indiana is reopening fully at stage 5 Saturday. Welp. Time for me to move there or South Dakota. Opening isn’t a bad idea especially seeing the most recent numbers from the cdc. Every age group has over a 99% survival rate, with those over 70 the most at risk of the age groups. What some of these governors have done to the seniors on the nursing homes is downright criminal. I love seeing that some of them have made devices that allow loved ones to visit and hug them through protective arms. Being isolated and afraid has to be awful.

1.) Re : Drouin. Montreal had better find a center for him. Unless they're thinking about trying to have him play center, and who knows how that will work out. 2.) Goodbye, Bryan Rust. We're going to miss you. Do you really think Rusty will be gone ? Word on the street is that the Pens made Flower available so that none of our other players would be touched. Also, with regards to the expansion draft, Jagr is available. Not sure his playing in Las Vegas is a good idea with his gambling history. Yikes.

Dang, is it nerves for Rinne or was he playing too good the last 3 series? He's 1-8 or 1-9 vs Penguins lifetime. He's not the goalie that showed up in the first 3 series for the Preds, but he's not as bad as he's shown in these two games. It's a mental thing with goalies.

Horrible officiating. Totally blew the boarding call on Cullen, sorry, not a call, not a penalty. Hitting from behind is 'just a hockey play' I'm sure. Subban elbowed Kunitz in the head before Kunitz took his cross checking call against him. Malkin's hook... yeah. Nashville must need a lot of help.

I was quite pleased by the outcome of the first game. Minus the fish on the ice of course.

I do have to ask, though. Why is everybody so sure that Matt Murray isn't ever going to get any better than he already is? Not every rookie goaltender is Steve Mason, and Mike Bales is a pretty damned good goaltending coach. Is it just blind Penguin "You idiot bandwagon fans don't deserve this team, they should be in Hamilton with Jim Balsillie!!!" hate? Because he's not that good. If the Penguins don't block the shots that they did, 30+ in game 6 alone.. the series goes a completely different direction. Dude only faced 2 shots in the final period of that game. If the Pens keep the same system in place, he'll do alright moving forward, but he's not going to be able to keep them in games the way Fleury has when the D screws up and they're giving up tons of odd man rushes.

So if you're the Pens what would you do for the goaltending controversy? Trade Murray in the Offseason while his value is extremely high like Martin Jones who only played 33 Games was worth a 1st round pick last year. Trade Fleury this year and get less value? Ride them both this season and let them fight for the starting position? Honestly I would go with the trade route. Like Murray would get me the best value but MAF has had a lot of injuries and age may eventually catch up to him and he ends up being like Ryan Miller. But I would probably trade Murray since I'm sure the Penguins is one of those teams that would never really have a problem finding goalies and their team can always make the goalies look better then they really are. Word on the street is that Flower's agent is flipping out because he didn't play and is going to ask for a trade. He has a limited no move clause, so he can pick 12 teams that he would NOT want to go to. That said, the Pens don't have to honor the trade and could well keep two goalies. A lot is going to depend on the expansion draft and how the no trade / limited move players are protected. IF they move Flower this off season, I really think it will be detrimental to the club. He is far and away the most popular guy in the room. He's the one that held the team together and played out of his mind early on in the season. He's also a HUGE cap hit. The Pens have been burnt in the past by putting faith in a young goalie (Patrick Lalaime) and he was just a flash in the pan for them. It's a horrible dilemma for sure. Weighing the pros and cons, I say keep em both and tell them to share and play nice. Leaves Zatkoff out in the cold though and he's a solid young goalie as well. Murray did OK in the finals, not as well as he'd done earlier and he does have a lot of weak spots. SJ scored two identical goals two days in a row coming around behind the net and getting in on his blocker side. He's got a shitty glove and a gap between his elbow and body, a couple went in that way. Tampa exploited him not being able to get the ones top shelf glove side. He is very composed for such a young guy, Flower took several years to get to that point. Flower is coming off a career season, he's got a lot of miles in the league, but he came in young and was able to stay. He is a franchise goalie and has huge trade value if a team has the cap space to support him. The Pens won't trade Murray, he's young and cheap and did an OK job. Martin Jones was phenomenal.. he kept the Sharks in the series.

One, that belt is awesome. Two, Crosby was a minus player and 4th on his team in scoring in the playoffs. That's Kessel or Murray's trophy. I really don't see Sid getting the Conn Smythe either, but whatever. You need to add Letang to your group of Kessel & Murray. Just glad that after 7 years I can change the picture in my sig. Sucks that I have to work Wednesday during the parade or you better believe I'd be there. Without too much change in the off season (I think only the Reverend Ben Lovejoy is a free agent) the Pens should do well next year too. Still not a fan of Murray though.. Flower is the better goalie. And yes, it's been so long since I've posted that it took me two days to find this thread. I was looking in Off Topic ... oops.

I was 13, my best friend who was spending the summer with me took her boyfriend to the bedroom to make out. Left his buddy, my neighbor and childhood playmate) sitting on the sofa with me. We were watching the original Ghostbusters. Ended up laying down on the sofa with him and at some point in the movie he kinda rolled on top of me and stuck his tongue in my mouth. I still haven't seen all of Ghostbusters, and have NO desire to.

Being accused of something and actually being charged and convicted are two entirely different things. Innocent until proven guilty. Vick has been proven guilty, Ben, not. If Vick had only been accused (and not even by police) of his crimes, he would deserve the same rights. Innocent until proven guilty. Eh.. it's just one year I have to avoid watching the games. Was gonna be crappy without Troy in there anyway. How are the Browns and Ravens looking this season ? He served his time. I haven't heard anything in the way of Vick still being a menace to society. Why are you so against him making a living? He can make a living if he wants, just don't want him here. It's causing a huge stir in the 'Burgh for sure. Last thing the team needs is a distraction (another one) going into a season where our defense has been shaken to the core and ripped apart. The Rooney's have always been perceived as having more class than to allow the likes of him onto the team. I'm thinking the old blokes are getting more and more senile by allowing Harrison to come back, Vick to come in and Tomlin to take over. And yes, had Ben been formally accused and charged, he would be on this list of people. I don't even have a problem with the pot smoking, regardless of who it is. I don't like seeing the team I've been a fan of since the 70's going down that road. What's next ? Sign Ray Rice ? They have taken the high road so many times and now it's crumbling. Soon we'll be low class like others, deflating balls and video taping opponents.. putting bugs in the locker room etc Nothing is going to change, they inked the deal, and for one season I will exercise my right to not support the team. I won't watch games, purchase Steelers paraphernalia or listen to the radio station that broadcasts their games. Others think this is better than sliced bread and already have the Steelers marching to Super Bowl victory. I'm not into wishing others harm, but I wouldn't mind if James Harrison caught Vick at practice and just flattened him. Afterwards, I think Harrison has a dog Vick might be interested in.

Absolutely disgusted that Michael Vick is now a Steeler. Hoping Yinzer nation runs his ass out of town. There has to be a better quarterback available. Hell, bring Bradshaw out of retirement. It could be a worse, they could have a 2-time rape suspect at QB too... Being accused of something and actually being charged and convicted are two entirely different things. Hoping Saad comes home to Pittsburgh, he'd make a nice fit. Have to dump a lot of salary cap though. I think we've let most of our defense walk this off season. Letang & Matta better be on their game next fall.

10 Things I Hate About You was the best of the ones I've seen listed. Enjoyed The Mummy and to some extent Matrix. Not really a strong year for movies IMO

Is Dirty Dancing a chick flick ? That's one of the more tolerable ones. Can't really think of many that I like. I'd rather watch XMen and Avengers.

Seems that often times, those that make us laugh the hardest are the ones that find it the most difficult to smile themselves. Rest in Peace Robin. Thanks for the laughs.
