im actually glad they have them put on such ridiculous accents, in my experience the real ones are often quite grating (no offense) None taken, for the most part people, well chicks, dig a Scots accent the world over! ;D Big Daddy was a specatacle for his size and personality, he was an awful wrestler but didnt need to be great, his matches were simple and always played to his strength.

Regal is a real case in point on the accent thing, he is a typical northerner in everyway aswell. Accent and personality. Very down to earth guy and nothing like he is on tv. Then again very few of the guys are anything like thier characters.

Scots accents can get so bad that they are even subtitling Rab C Nesbit episodes in England!

Yea as far as im aware Lawrence was Steve Lewingtons partner. As for Layla, she isnt actually a talent, more of a hired breast and bum combination Thanks for the SOS stuff, looking good, they might have something with him if he can adapt to WWE style matches and promos.

In my time in the wrestling business, promoting, working and attending with my own and other companies all over the UK I have seen several talents that have been snapped up by WWE and some who should have been signed aswell but havent for what ever reason. Most of them I know reasonably well, whether personally or professionally. Im going to give a quick run down of the guys to start some discussion on them but i also want to state the point that the lads/lasses that have been given promo time Drew McIntyre, Hade Vansen, Burchill and Katie Lea must have been told to change thier accents, honestly not one of them speaks like they do on WWE tv! Sorry, its just a gripe of mine! Drew Galloway (WWE: Drew McIntyre) - Good solid worker with a fantastic prescence about him and a clever head as well as being an all round 5 star human being! Debuted along side the now future endeavoured Dave Taylor, had two matches and was sent back down to FCW for more training. While his matches were unspectacular, this is one seriously dedicated boy. Drew will do everything to succeed and has all the tools to do so including a fantastic physique. WWE need to drop the whole uber-Scotsman thing though if and when they bring him back, it will only hold him down. Though is accent is unmistakable. Ill also note that the chicks dig this guy so bad, picturesto prove it aswell, Manchester chicks all over him on a night out. Nikita (WWE: Katie Lea Burchill) I only knew her for a very short while, training with her for about 3 weeks in FWA under Alex Shane (her boyfriend at the time) and Mark Sloan. A very very talented woman, she could become a very reliable worker at the top of the divas divison though may lack the 'plastic beauty' of some of the other top divas. Another very dedicated worker. I think she could make it, just give her a proper shot. Paul Burchill: Always worked under the name as far as I am aware, reasonably big guy, again with bags of dedication and he is so unbelievably agile for a lad of his size. Lacks any real personality and has a tendancy to be a bit reserved at times which may hinder him getting 'in' with the right people in WWE (Though he is good friends with Regal). Another one that could make it if given a chance. Could do with a mouthpiece though. Gotta love his C4 finisher aswell, not seen that in a while. Stevie Lewington (WWE: DJ Gabriel) Never really done anything over here at all, has changed his style dramatically since I seen him and looks great. He has fairly bulked up and looks great now. Has only been wrestling for two years now or less, i think, so wouldnt put any money on him having a wrestling clinic anytime soon. One to watch imo. Got his break thanks to his trainer being very good friends with Regal. Seamus O'Saughnessy(sp?) (FCW: Seamus) - SOS is a big guy with a good look and fantastic heel persona and can talk. Before signing with WWE his ring work was becoming very solid, not seen enough of him recently and have only met him on a few occasions so cant really comment further. Hade Vansen (WWE: ) - Debuted with a promo last week on SD! with a promo seemingly directed at Undertaker, he isn't the biggest guy from my past experience and has been flirting with WWE for years now. His ring work has come so far from when I done some work with him training in FWA. Good personality though i feel his new 300esque accent detracted from both his personality and his 1st vignette. Solid worker, reasonably good guy, can talk and looks pretty good too. Depending on what this gimmick really is and what they do with it... he could be the one man on this list that actually does make it. How do you all feel about these talents and what do the non-UK residents of wrestlecrap think of thier accents? Any other UK crappers noticing the awful put on accents they are being given?

I love Hade. one of the best workers i got the priveledge of working with near the end of his UK run. Great to see the lad finally get a chance hes been bakc and forth from WWE for years now. He could shine with the right people around him here.

No, the album is coming out and it's apparently great. What the naysayers and critics are going to do now, I don't know. Not care like they did before?lol. Im in that boat tbh, never been a huge GnR fan at all but i do understand that they are a very much loved band.

Alright guys, just thought id give you all a heads up on Nick Aldis. He is a 20 year old promoter, wrestler and gladiator from around Norfolk (i think) in England who was seen mainly touring with All-Star promotions before his sigining with Sky One. An aquaintance of mine and SPW, Nick is a reasonably solid worker with a good physique and as seen on Gladiators can work well as a heel and as far as i can remember he may have done a camp with NOAH at some point but dont quote me on that! Oh and heres some pics from the 'net:

Cant those steward do thier job and seperae them and get them out? In Britain that'd have been stopped within a minute. Then again, the English football riots could throw out some crazy sights!

Right, so here I am taking a walk to the neaby shop with my newborn son who was in his buggie. On the way i have to cross a main road at a peak time in the morning (Think Human Frogger!). Anyway, I usually cross at a particular point but i thought 'today ill cross here instead'. At the same time some kid on thier way to school crosses at the same point i do. Once im across i hear a skid and a crash, i look back and the kid hitting the ground, a car with some stupid teenage 'boy-racer' driving had come speeding out of the corner without stopping at the junction...
If that was me, id have been the one with minor injuries in hospital and my baby son would likely have been dead. Why on this day did i decide to cross at a different point when i cross at the other one almost every day?!
Im sure this isnt the only example in my life of a similar situation, anyone expereinced anything similar?

The school I'd be going to leaves me in two minds as well. There are two head trainers, one of whom has over a decade of experience and has been training for quite a while, and helped to train Drew Galloway. The other one has only been wrestling for about 4 years, but I'm good friends with him, and I know he's got a good head for the business. Their trainees are mixed as well, with a few looking really good and a few not so. I've got no way of living the dream at the moment anyway, given that I've got no money and no car to get the school. But hell, I've just turned 20, I've got my best years ahead of me, and if I wanna go out and do it, I still can. But I've had my phases of really wanting to do it, not wanting to, and right now where I'm completely split. Make sure you know what you're getting into if you decide to do it. I've got so many gimmick ideas I could probably play about 4 or 5 different characters in different promotions as well. Being a legit 6'3" and (currently) 270lbs means that I'd probably get booked as a 6'6", 300lb monster in most places though That'll be the SPWA a school then, with Ross Watson (Kid Fite) and Highlander (Colin McKay) then? Good stuff, work with a few boys who have come through there and Kid Fite is about to get a huge push in my company (SPW) aswell. We are the best in Scotland down to Dumfries to run my training school too; Head trainer Darkside with guest such as Lionheart, Liam Thompson and Spitfire . Ill PM you too if you need any help and advice? Keep those gimmick ideas in a grave for at least the first year of training though, Ross wont let you through early
