I saw some Youtube a while back promoting the return of Kendo Nagasaki. Is it still the original guy? How old could he be at this point? Its a trainee of the original now, i was actually going to go for the role myself when i heard about it a few years back.

The only shows near me are the small ones with UK Undertaker etc. I think Jake Roberts was gonna do a show in Carlisle a few years ago but no showed. Im running one of the biggest shows in the UK this year on Friday so if you havent sampled too much your in for a treat if you come along. Its at the DGone complex, August 22nd. Check out www.scottishprowrestling.com for more. Its a nice little scene most the boys try there bums of because there is so much competetion, im a big fan of British work. The rate of quality workers per amount of workers is probably higher than anywhere else in the western world imo. Darkside, Johnny Moss, Pac, Stone are all amazing guys capable of big things.

However, someone the other day was talking about the Premiere League in the WWE forum, and it was Greek to me. That sentence right there sums up the USAs knowledge of FOOTBALL! I find the american sports confusing, Baseball and American Football, why do Americans play sports that nobody else in the world plays or cares about? Are they scared of being shown up on an international stage?

meh, so do I. Might I ask though, what process do you go through to begin your own promotion? I have always been interested in that, since I want to try in the future... Unless your a solid businessman and can convince panels to give you a ton of cash and back you, youll have to have a minimum of around £2.5k to run a half decent show. Once you have the cash just book a venue, get in touch with somone in the business (if u dont already know someone this is the hard part) that can get contacts and help you book talent. Then its a matter of building and hyping the event, not easy really and so much work. Its a risky business aswell, you find most promoters only take home pocket money and dont have the business brain. Ill be happy to help out though mate if you need it.

I recently started up my own promotion and was told that the company that helped fund me had issued a press release, well ive been quoted on these articles and i never opened my mouth to anyone with regard to the article! Its all true and is harmless but still... Crazy! Just got me thinking how often it happens and the potential damage a 'misquote' in the media could do to a organisation? How do you feel about media affecting wrestling promotions/wrestlers or the business in general? Check out www.scottishprowrestling.com for more details on the article if you cant read it, not sure if the image scaler will make it too small to read etc? EDIT: Just like to add i was 2hrs out of hospital and had 3 days no sleep for this photo!!

As said above its the lower card guys taking the hit, i know a few of the boys that are there from the UK and its not a very good wage at all when converted into GPB (£).

Id jst like to add that they are protected in Britain, i dont know about the States or elsewhere. Ive heard from some that the alcaseltzer/paracetemol thing works and that is doesn from others. I really do want them dead. I knacked my ankle trying to train a student on sunday night and im on crutches, managed to whack one today when it attacked.
Also it was indeed those shifty templars that protected the species in 1345, i hate those templars.

CW was more than likely given the title as he was the most suitable guy at the time, promoters generally dont just randomly pick champions, small time indys it just doesnt matter but at the top it has a significant impact on your draw. Zbysko isnt the last champion of the AWA, he ran from a promotion that made his name while being the top dog and main representative of the company. Real champions dont run, he should have vacated it or dropped it.

You are always a smart mark if you arent a industry insider, you think you know the inner workings etc etc, but really you dont know it all that well, you go by hear say and dirt sheets. None that aren't actaully in and about the industry are truly 'smart'.
