Call me crazy, but I don't think it makes a lot of sense to spend hundreds of dollars on a product you dislike just so you can boo the guy who defended it. *shrug*
Anyway, anything is better than Brock as champ.

So the solution to ratings trouble is to make all of the female characters incredibly unlikable? Actually, the dudes aren't faring much better...

Oddly enough, I think that if this happened today it wouldn't have been nearly as big of a deal. Sure it would have been a social media storm for a couple of days, but it would have blown over pretty quickly. Matt probably would have just been sent home until he cooled off or his contracted expired, but everyone would have moved on.

If they weren't willing to turn him heel when he was universally despised, they're not doing it now when his reactions are mostly positive.

Genuine question - who do y’all want as champion? It feels like anyone this company puts forth as the top guy gets dumped on by this board. I think a lot of people have nope'd out of the program in general. The booking hasn't helped, but I don't see a single person who would be universally accepted. Big E would have been fun, but he wasn't beating Brock.

This is okay if Seth wins at Summer Slam. I just don't want another year of Brock Smash.

True. He fell off a cliff with his title basically being a pile of nothing tied up with Corbin. He had Lashley and McIntyre as viable candidates to fight And he was being a dickhead online. People do pay attention to that shit these days. Honestly, I don't think people outside of the Internet cared much about that ( and the office probably loved it). What hurt him was that he had some bad PVP main events as champion at a time when business is bad. Seth is one of my favorites and I don't think most of this is his fault, but of both champs he was the most expendable.

So Brock's Universal Champ again? Guess who's not watching Raw until that's over! Oh, I'm very much considering it. Only reason I might stay is because I want to see how things go with Heyman and Bischoff getting some of the reins. On the plus side, at least we likely won't get Roman getting stuck in yet another Brock feud? And at least it wasn't Kofi? Wouldn't be surprised if we got Brock vs Roman at Summerslam. Seth will probably get Corbin again.

Finn isn't above trolling on Twitter, so I'm guessing it's nothing but that.

I think I might need to take a break from this company for a while. Brock Lesnar as champion again, squashing the entire roster whenever he feels like showing up sucked the last time. Don't need to see it again.

That was the most bad ass Seth has looked in a while, so of course Brock is going to squash him.

Just imagine if Becky and Rollins win and as they're celebrating all of a sudden you hear Brock's music come on. I'm actually expecting that to happen.

Incoming thread from Finn fans saying Balor is getting buried lol. I do wonder what is going on with him, but it could be just as simple as him taking some time off. Hopefully, they do something interesting with Nakamura in the meantime.

Just read what Rollins said in the interview and judging some comments about it I thought it would be way worse. Did he say something else other than what he said in SI or is that everything? Maybe I'm missing something. Honestly, I think the whole thing is being blown out of proportion. Seth is probably very sensitive over the fact that he's the guy on top at a time when things are going downhill. It probably doesn't help that his friend is getting universally praised for trashing a company he takes a lot of pride in. Since the product is pretty bad right now ( for reasons that have little to do with Seth) peple just naturally view his opinions as sucking up, whether that's fair or not.

I honestly think it's Reigns vs Rollins. They've mentioned a few times on air that Seth has never main evented Mania and both guys have publicly been pushing for the match. There could be a good story here of Roman finally getting a shot at the title he never lost but needing to beat his best friend for it.
This of course will only work if they keep the belt off Roman until Mania, and I'm not entirely sure they'll resist the temptation.
As long as Brock isn't involved I'll be happy.

This is why you don't make grand romantic gestures while you are intoxicated: You may think you're coming across like Ryan Gosling in The Notebook, but you're really coming across like Pepe Le Pew.
