Owens and Reigns got some good chemistry. I'm loving this match. I reiterate what I said in the RAW thread about this being an awesome feud somewhere down the line.

I don't know if he is ready, but they are going to have to find out. He has to be given the chance to either run with the ball, or drop it in epic Charlie Brown fashion.
Even if he is a total failure as champion, they at least have a few interesting storylines coming out of it.

Of course he pinned Owens. To be fair, lots of people pin Owens.

I'm all giving Roman the belt just so people can get all the whining about it out of their system.

So far this match has featured a lot of walking and punching.

I'm of torn on the possibility of an Ambrose heel turn. On one hand, I'd rather see him as a babyface. On the other hand, I think he'll totally kill it as a psychotic heel.

"Why would this idiot come out here now?" "I don't want to see this." One of the few times I've agreed with commentary tonight.

Reigns has put in some awesome work this year. It's too bad they keep completely undoing it with his booking.

Dueling "let's go Roman/Roman Sucks" chants. He is the next Cena, folks.

I think there will always be a segment of the smark fanbase that will give him a hard time as long as he's a babyface simply because he has the stigma of being "Vince's Guy."
However, I think the vast majority of the audience wants to like him. WWE just needs to keep booking to his strengths (like his beatdown of Wyatt two weeks ago) instead of highlighting his weaknesses (anytime they force him to cut a lengthy "What!" promo).

Non-Shield reunion time. It should still be a fun match since these guys always worked well together.

Why the hell are we giving Reigns a long promo again this week? Just...ugh.

I'd say go ahead and do it now, but not for the purposes of, "It'll be better!" More, to get through the Sheamus shit quick and get the belt on then off of him in a hurry, and to go ahead and give the belt to Reigns now and see if he sinks or swims instead of having him floundering around doing nothing but waiting to win the Rumble again just so they can telegraph him getting the title at Mania for real this time from a mile off and potentially cause the crowd to turn on him all over again. I'm all for shoving Roman into the deep end with the title as well. Either he'll fail and have to be repackaged or he'll succeed and become the break-out star they want him to be. In any case, it's better than his current booking pattern. And as others have said, he and Sheamus will have some really fun, hard-hitting matches. As long as the promos are very short, everything will be fine.

If this wasn't the main title program, I'd probably enjoy the utter silliness if it. Right now, it's just really a drain on the program.

At this point, I think we could replace him with a trained seal and there would be an improvement in the product.

the one time Reigns should've won something........ Reigns wins MITB. Ambrose wins the Rumble. Rollins retains until Mania. Shield triple threat. It would have been so easy. *sigh*

- They've completely abandoned the idea of New Day as serious threats. - Sasha Banks may be the only survivor of the #divasrevolution. - Reigns is still doomed as a top babyface. - They've clearly stopped caring about Neville. - Rusev may be more doomed than Reigns. - Rollins may be the most ineffective champion ever. - And last but not least, we are building toward Show vs. Kane in 2015. I think that covers it.
