What was the point of going to commercial on a cliffhanger then immediately cutting to showing it's a dream? Bloom and Gloom written by RL Stine

Applebloom's voice is sounding a bit deeper compared to a few seasons back. Aging 4 years will do that to a VA.

They've pretty much written Babs off the show Applebloom: "Hey, it's a letter from Babs! She says 'I have to go now. My planet needs me'?" Sweetie: Babs was from another planet? Scootaloo; I guess.

Well, I guess with Babs having graduated they'll have to come up with some sort of CMC alumni association.

Doesn't help that she still looks 12. Looking at your avatar right after reading that made me chuckle 18th birthday? Pervy eyebrow Cena? Brings a whole new meaning to 'Make A Wish'.

Having watched the leaks, I'm liking reading you guy's theories. Ah yes, the Game of Thrones season pattern. Week 1: WOOO! Kinda slow, but I wonder what will happen! Week 2: Woooo! Things will happen! Week 3: Ok, lots of set up, let's have something happen. Week 4: Guh, any time now. Week 5: YAY! Something happened! I bet this will happen next! Week 6: Nope. Week 7: Sigh, why are these people still alive? That was pretty cool. Week 8: Huh, I have this strange feeling of dread. Week 9: OH MY GOD WHAT JUST HAPPENED!? MY WHOLE BRAIN IS CRYING!!! Week 10: Everything's wrapping itself up nicel-WHAT!?!?!!?!?!?!!??! WHY IS NEXT SEASON NOT HERE!?!?!? On a related note, while episode 9 is generally the climax episode, I've noticed that they like end episode 4 with a particularly strong "Whoa, boy!" moment.. Season 1 - Catelyn taking Tyrion prisoner at the inn. Season 2 - Shadow baby Season 3 - Dracarys Season 4 - White Walker Day Care and Nursery

I've been wondering about where Sansa and Littlefinger are headed. I have an idea, and am slightly worried what it might mean. Book Spoiler/Original Plotlines Theory {Spoiler}{Spoiler}{Spoiler} She's heading to Winterfell, where she might take the story place of "Arya" and be forced to marry Ramsay. This of course assumes also that Littlefinger will be killed by Ramsay, which would be interesting, since Littlefinger is a master of city politics, but what happens when you meet someone brutal who plays by no rules whatsoever?
I missed this show. {Spoiler}{Spoiler}{Spoiler} That has about less than zero chance of happening and makes no sense. Why would Littlefinger make Sansa marry him and claim she's Arya? Littlefinger's a bastard, but the only redeeming quality he has is caring somewhat for Sansa since she reminds him of Cat. {Spoiler}I don't think he was suggesting that Littlefinger tries to pass Sansa off as Arya, rather that Sansa fills the role of the fake Arya from the books. Whether she does this as Sansa Stark or as the niece of the Lord of the Vale and Harrenhal is another question. Either is likely as both would make strategic sense as far as the Boltons are concerned.
And it's not so far-fetched as Littlefinger's goal in the books seems to be marrying Sansa to Harry the Heir and securing the Vale and the North.
So Cela's prediction seems to be the merging of the two storylines from the books.

I've read the books and know what happens next here but, still. I'd like to hear why anyone likes Stannis. This guy: 1. Killed his own brother and then refused to take any responsibility for it. 2. Treats his family like complete shit. 3. Is too stupid to realize Melisandre is not to be trusted. 4. Burns people simply for disagreeing with him. 5. Shits all over the only guy who shows him any loyalty. I guess, like Hodor, he's now too much of a meme for people to not like for some f****** reason. To address the points. 1. Under succession, Stannis is the true king. Renly had no right to assume he could claim the throne. In both book and show Stannis gives Renly opportunities to back down and rescind his claim but he chose not to. Stannis didn't want to kill Renly but he had to. In the show he takes responsibility by outright saying "I killed my brother" after he is defeated at the Blackwater. In the books we're told how Stannis spent the night of Renly's murder basically screaming in his sleep and expresses sorrow at Renly's death later on. Albeit "for the boy he was, not the man he grew to be". 2. I wouldn't say that. Him and Selyse clearly don't have any great warmth but he doesn't disrespect her. And in the show you can see how ashamed he is when he admits to her he slept with Melisandre. In the books there's nothing to suggest he doesn't care for Shireen. Spoiler for info from leaked episodes {Spoiler}there's a great scene in the fourth episode (probably my favourite scene from the season so far) where he tells Shireen exactly how much he cares about her. 3. One of my criticisms of the show is how much Stannis appears to be being played by Melisandre. In the books I always got the impression that Stannis saw her as a means to an end and that it was more his wife was the fanatic, but the show makes him seem much more in her thrall. For example in the show, Stannis only spares Davos and goes North after Mel tells him it's important. In the books, Stannis is the one who decides to spare Davos after he brings the Night's Watch letter to his attention and reminds him of his duty. 4. Basically repeating point 3. I see that more as a Mel thing that Stannis just goes along with because, hey, it seems to get results and burning is just a different form of execution. 5. He made Davos a lord and his Hand. He might be cold, gruff and incredibly stubborn and rigid but he clearly respects him. If Stannis didn't see him as someone of worth he would've executed him about 4 times over now. But beyond those points, the reason why I like Stannis is that he rewards loyalty, but punishes those that need punishing. Of all the contenders for the throne he is the most capable, the most seasoned and in my opinion has the strongest claim. But basically it can all be summed up with this quote, "Lord Seaworth is a man of humble birth, but he reminded me of my duty, when all I could think of was my rights. I had the cart before the horse, Davos said. I was trying to win the throne to save the kingdom, when I should have been trying to save the kingdom to win the throne." He took his council from a former thief raised in the slums and realised what a king should actually do. Protect the realm. tl;dr, much more than a meme.

My death pool picks are (in order of confidence they'll die) Grey Worm, Shireen, Bronn, Thormund and Missendei.
I've read the books but I'm working off the basis of that reveal that characters still alive in the books will be killed off this season.

I'm torn do I watch the new season and risk it doing something that hasn't happened in the books or do I just stop watching all together and wait for George RR Martin to stop being lazy and finish book 6&7 already I went through the same dilemma but then I had it put to me in a way that made the choice pretty easy. Would you rather have a key plot point revealed by watching the show and enjoying it, or else spend the next however many years worrying that at any second you could have a key event or reveal spoiled because of a random comment on facebook, youtube, this forum, by an image macro, by a late-night chat show monologue, by pretty much anything? Key example, if Jon Snow's parentage (or some other big deal) is revealed this season, do you really think you can avoid hearing about it until the next book comes out?

I saw one Friday that was titled, "If you ever wondered what Ed Sheeran would look like with Jon Snow's sword, this video is for you!".
Outside of the most demented fanfic writer, WHO has ever had that thought?

Some people like it for the lore of the universe in the game more than the actual gameplay itself. What lore? Avenue Q rejects screaming their guts out? I haven't played any of the games because I agree with your opinion that they're just a sequence of repeated jump scares and I don't see any appeal from a gameplay or horror standpoint (you nailed it by calling it lowest common denominator horror). Saying that, the games do actually have a fair bit of backstory. Now I don't know it very well but the little I've gleaned is that there was an incident in one of the restaurants that turns out to be 5 children were murdered. Initially you're led to beleive that the animatronics came alive and killed them but it actually turns out that the kids were killed by a security guard wearing one of the costumes. Now the spirits of the children are possessing the animatronics to defend themselves against who they believe to be the security guard,w hich explains why they keep coming after the night watchman. There's waaaaaay more stuff leading up to that and at the sides, and I've probably told it wrong but I think that's the gist of it.

I think it sounds terrible, don't do a stable just because they're the same nationality, I hate that. New Day was/is awful Probably call it 'The Shamrock Army' or something like that (Actually no that would seemingly involve Ken Shamrock in Vince's head) - so maybe go for 'The Mean Green Team' The obvious answer is to call them The Shamrock and Roll Express. As delighted as I am to see so much Irish talent in WWE, I really don't want to see them paired up unless there's a better reason than "they're all Irish". If anything I'd be more interested in a Finn/Sheamus feud.

Was discussing GoT recently with a friend who's only just started watching it, talking about how much of a dick Baelish is when I said "He's not as bad as when he was the CIA dude in Dark Knight Rises!" And, well, I think I broke my friend. The whole "IT WOULD BE INCREDIBLY PAINFUL!" "You're a big guy!" "FOR YOU!" thing has been an in-joke for us, and he can't believed he didn't recognise him. You want another one from the Nolan-verse regarding GoT? The snot-nozed kid who Batman gives that gadget to in Batman Begins went on to become a snot-nozed sadistic king who died a horrible yet well deserved death. Another one; in Dark Knight Rises, Dagget's main henchman is Karl Tanner. He was a fookin' legend in Gin Alley!

Twilight: I need my mommy! I think this was my favourite part of the episode. Love the idea of the moralising trope being turned on its head and the presumptive hero being told to shut up.

Well, she's coming back sooner or later. Good. Maybe we can finally have that recurring antagonist that they've burnt away with Trixie and Discord?
