They're just being careful about how they word things. Like the director said he can't imagine a sequel without Ezra.
Well this movie won't get a sequel so it's a moot point.
They'll throw this out there, make what $ they can and see if Sasha gets a big response as Supergirl and go from there.

This film was amazing. Flat out amazing. It was so god damn gorgeous too. You may think you know how beautiful this will be because of the trailers and how beautiful the first film was, but throw those expectations out the window, cause it is more beautiful than that. The story is amazing, and emotional. The various references were hilarious and well timed and utilized. There was just a feeling of reverence to the material to everything. A sense of heart in this film I honestly feel has been missing from many superhero films in recent years. Instantly one of my favorite superhero films ever. If you love Spider-Man, you owe it to yourself to see this film. I thought No Way Home did a great job paying homage to the live action films, this is like that, but for all of Spider-Man media. Legitimately it's so stunning that if we got animated superhero fare at or near this quality all the time I'd never need any live action stuff superhero stuff again. Reality will never be able to mirror the comics like animation can. This is a masterpiece

Am liking the Superboy mini series. Helps that 90s Mtn Dew Superboy is one of my all time favorites, and this Conner is pretty much that.

Picked up my pull list. Only thing I've read so far is Amazing Spidey. I know everyone is mad about it, but I thought it was mostly fine. If anything it would have had an interesting fake out for a page or two if things weren't spoiled weeks ago.
Kamala dying a cynical stunt? Sure. Aren't they all?
I could see being nonplussed if she was your favorite character, but after 40 years of reading comics I just can't have strong feelings when damn near every hero in that issue has died at least once. Especially given it's so blatantly obvious we'll have a Return of Ms Marvel and probably a new #1 in time for the movie in November. Your mileage may vary.

Ah ok that is more manageable. I was under the impression all the spinoff books were ongoing. I'll still tpb wait as I've done so from the start, but good to know some are finite

Boy, Twitter is reacting exactly how you'd expect to the leaked death that will last six months till movie comes out.
One ol boy even called it a career killer for those involved. It's precious they can be that passionate and not know at all how the business side works.
Haven't read the issue cuz obviously it ain't out till today. It's a blatant, cynical stunt, but that's part of the industry cuz people keep buying em.
The Return of Ms. Marvel special and new #1 in November will probably sell well

Yeah, procedure is no big deal. You'll be out for it.
Take off at least a half day before as you're gonna be drinking Miralax and looking like Jeff Daniels in Dumb and Dumber for hours.

does the caterpillar come back? or was that just a dead end post credit scene from the first film? Mr. Mind is... {Spoiler}{Spoiler} a dead end post credit scene in BOTH films. I did find it funny how Sandberg was taking the piss. "It's been two years!"

If the made up characters were compelling at all that'd be one thing, but you DO NOT care about em at all.
Their whole deal is getting their dad's power back except they already have godlike power so it doesn't make much sense.

Thanks I'll have to check it out. Yeah I pretty much trade wait for all of it now as I didn't get into Radiant Black till there were 3 volumes out already & since there's so much of it now w Pink, Red etc.
I do really like it though. It reminds me a bit of Invincible, not really in content, just in you have your standard superhero tropes w interesting twists to em
