I swear I saw Hector Garza on a Raw once unless I imagined it. Also I assume Charlotte Flair counts. David Flair probably does... I'm assuming he was on raw at some point <_< not really Lesser... on the raw side... but Cody did appear in WCW at some point. I think Undertaker beating the shit out of David Flair was on a Raw, but if not, they likely showed clips from it on there.

Agreed, though I will admit that Wally's definitely got his prickish moments, looking back on some of the '80s Teen Titans run. Of course, I'll take that over Barry and his very boring nature.

This is extremely Bret Hart of him, and I mean that as a compliment. A true ring general can take even an unusual opponent and turn it into a puzzle to solve.

The first tag champs were Kazarian and Scorpio Sky so winning them isnāt a guarantee that they have big plans for you. Nah, AEW has always wanted to push Scorpio. He got a title shot not long after that, got a Sting match and some TNT title reigns, then has been on the shelf ever since. The promotion having plans for someone is not the same thing as those plans working out. Yep, he was their earliest answer to the issue of not having main event black wrestlers, and unfortunately, I don't think he had it for that level in this big a company, though I don't think bad angles helped him.

Dr. Pulaski, for sure.
I'm sure that she could have been decent enough as a secondary doctor, but having her replace Dr. Crusher was just not doing her any favors, nor was that fact she was pretty much a low-rent Bones McCoy. It's like someone looked at him and thought, "grumpy bigot, there, that's the only thing of substance to take away here, slap them on a new character and call it a day."

I was more into WCW due to the cruiserweights. Late-ish 1998, with Mankind and Kane getting more emphasis, and WCW kind of showing less and less interest in the CW division after a certain point, helped change the balance back into the WWF's favor.

Man, a lot of guys jumping from WCW to WWF in the 90s didn't get a lot out of it, or if they did do well they still fell short of where they likely could've or should've gotten, which hurt their staying power in Stamford: Sid, Vader, Mero, even Luger to some degree, curious how things would've shaped up with Pillman if his injuries hadn't been a major issue. Certainly some exceptions: I think the Steiners did fine coming over for a short run, since they were a legit tag team at a time when WWF was kind of lacking in them but hadn't yet seemingly given up all the way on the division, Road Warriors could've done better for the same reason if Hawk's demons hadn't gotten the better of him so often. It's funny, but historically it was the guys who got let go from WCW who ended up doing better up north (Austin and Foley, mainly) instead of the guys who willingly jumped ship, who you'd think Vince would've been more committed to given the money and perceptions involved. I agree in general, though Foley actually quit WCW rather than being fired.

One of these days, the people who bring swords to the ring actually use them in a match. And then get arrested. I think Tiger Jeet Singh used a sword in the King of the Deathmatch tournament, but it was just him clubbing Terry Funk with the pommel on the end. It looked as stupid as you'd think it would.

Brainbusters are a weird case. They seem safe enough as long as you donāt turn it into a Ghostbuster but no one does it regularly. The last person that I can even think of to use it regularly was Eddie Guerrero. Tiger Suplex is one Iād like to see more of in the US. You see Dragonās more often than you see the Tiger for some reason. I can count on one hand the people that have used it in the WWE over the years. Off the top of my head Saturn, HHH, and I think Asuka. lol Triple H using one on Bryan is genuinely one of my top "wait, WHAT" Wrestlemania moments. I think I was more surprised to see that than Undertaker losing.

The tornado DDT would be a great finisher (for a wrestler other than Fuego Del Sol) Would like to see the Roaring Elbow used more instead of superkicks The spinning heel kick looks fantastic, and I can't remember a wrestler consistently doing it since Savio Vega and Owen Hart X-Pac did it as well, and weirdly Viscera used to do one that he really should have done more often because it always got a big reaction. But maybe he just got too hurt and slow to do it any more Viscera's was I think a bit more like Liger's koppou kick, but really, pretty similar. Jericho used to do spinning heel kicks as a regular move, but I think he phased it out in like the early 2000s. He's always been one for changing up his moveset, for any complaints people could make about him.

A combination of Vince being a prick and Vince knowing people liked JR and thus he was always a good source of heat, if I had to guess. JR had credibility with audiences and was tolerant of being put in bullshit situations in a way where bullying someone like Kevin Kelly past a certain point wouldn't have worked anywhere near as well.

It's really frustrating that AEW's games division can't match the quality of the on-screen product. My guess is Tony is not a gamer so he's not willing to throw the same level of money at it. I think it might be that he saw Yukes & THQ and thought, okay they have experience with this. And sorta, but obviously there were a lot of factors he would not have considered, like how THQ Nordic has kind of seemed dysfunctional for years now. Like, had he spent more, I am not really sure who else is available in the wrestling-game market. Though, if they had not announced it as fast as they did, and maybe given it 6 months more or something in development, which throwing money at it could do, then yeah, maybe they'd have avoided a lot of this mess, even if it would have made Punk and Cody being in the game that much more jarring.

It's kind of a shitty thing to do during an actual match, but I am more sympathetic during a terrible angle.

And even the legendary Jim Johnston would recycle a theme Yep, probably most notably with Kurt Angle and the Patriot. It's not, in and of itself, a bad thing, especially if you do something creative with it like Ezekiel Jackson and the Brawl for All theme, or Cesaro's reuse of Dean Malenko's that he had for a while. This is just not a very flattering example because of how homogynous a lot of Def Rebel's stuff tends to be in general.
