So here's a question to the Ryback supporters - What do you do with this guy if he's unable to put on even a 10 minute match that is in any way decent? We have no proof that he can. Ratings are already crap. I understand the need to change things up in that situation, hell I support the idea, but to put the belt on a guy who has done nothing but 3 minute squash matches is a tad bit risky, don't you think? And remember, if that comes to be the case and they just take the belt right off him, his push is pretty much dead in the water at that point. Just food for thought. He's been wrestling in the development system for about 7 years so of course he can wrestle longer than ten minutes. House show reports have for the most part been very favourable towards his performances. Wrestling skills have never been my determining factor in whether or not I enjoy a character anyway. I only started liking Daniel Bryan when he started his Yes! gimmick because despite his lovely matches with Dolph Ziggler and such, his gimmick was never good enough to make me care. Ryback, with his hungry monster gimmick and beating the shit out of jobbers I found thoroughly entertaining. He just has a natural presence that makes you give him your attention when he's on screen. He does for me anyway. As for it being a risk putting the title on him, it isn't really. It might hurt his momentum if his title reign sucks but look what happened to Sheamus. He won the title before he should've but he's now in the middle of an 8 month reign and hasn't been hurt at all in the long run. Better to take a chance on this guy than give it back to the safe hands of Cena or god forbid the part-timer Rock. And as a viewer that's all I care about. Something new and exciting, I don't work for WWE or hold shares in them so if ratings are down because of it that means nothing for me, I just want to see a wrestler I like win.

CM Punk. The one that isn't a flash in the pan catch phrase who sucks. That's rich considering all Punk says now is 'Respect' and 'Best in the World'. I look forward to the GOD DAMN Ryback welcoming CM Punk to the food chain. Feed Him More.

I've been playing the song way too much in the weeks leading up to the release but hearing it and seeing the beautiful opening credits, it was just perfect.
definitely my favourite Bond film, surpassing GoldenEye. Bardem was brilliantly camp but also scary, Judi Dench was sensational and Craig was even better than he was in Casino Royale.

I'll be upset if they end Punk's reign, give Ryback the belt, and STILL build Monday's RAW entirely around John Cena and AJ. If Ryback's not THE man, then keep the belt on Punk 'til he drops it to Rock. Giving Ryback the 1999 Big Show treatment (or hell, the 2012 CM Punk treatment) is a waste of him and everything they've built. I usually disagree with your opinions regarding Ryback but in this case I could not agree more. Ryback needs to be the star.

Just give me one Blu-Ray for women's gymnastics and I'll be good. Have you tried pornography? I thoroughly recommend it.

Also, to any United fine who's happy with the three points today: Yeah, it's great that we're five up on second and third in the group, but had this been a KO match, we'd have conceded two comically bad away goals and that could have been a deciding factor in whether or not United moves on. Jones and Smalling can't come back soon enough. Evans stood like a statue on both goals and Carrick is woefully out of his element as a CB. They'll be back soon (at least Smalling will) and we've managed to survive without them thanks to our awesome attack. I wouldn't blame Evans for the goals though. He was horrible in the Spurs game but other than that he has matured into a very solid centreback.

He can use the money and find his ex-wife's plastic surgeon to fix the baby. So that one day she can lie about being pretty to a man just like her mum.

People don't eat enough horse, I've always thought they'd taste delicious if I tried one. Matthew Broderick seems to enjoy it.

I also misread and chose option 1. The current gimmick sucks.
I don't want to say I love the person. I don't know him enough to judge but from what you read from him and about him and after watching the DVD it would seem that he's a total arsehole. But that's just him and it's part of his charm, I admire the fact that he hasn't changed and pretended to be nice just because he's mainstream now. So I'm conflicted as far as that goes.
The wrestler aspect is unquestionable.

Does anyone else think Vickie could transfer the MITB contract to Raw and Ziggler could cash in on the winner of Ryback-Punk?
I'm just saying this so that if it happens I get bragging rights.

30 Rock has been absolutely dreadful for the last couple of years though, so it's probably for the best.

And... I love Lonely Train, so don't rag on me about that. That is nothing to be ashamed of. I have witnessed BSC play it live. Needless to say, I'm a fan.

Then that means anyone on the roster is then. Or can be. Even Punk. Even Ziggler. Even *insert 'good worker stereotype' here* can be. It's a baseless claim that people make against bigger workers to discount their accomplishments by calling them a roided up meathead. Without proof, those claims border on slander the way some people are so sure about it. This is 2012, not 1990, times have changed. Times haven't changed. Just rules. A lot of guys are on TRT (Testosterone Replacement Therapy) these days. It's a legal exemption many use, because their body can literally not produce natural testosterone anymore --on the account of previous damage from an abundance of steroid abuse. Chris Benoit, for example, even after Wellness was implemented, had a TRT exemption, and thus did not fail any Wellness tests. And his testosterone ratio was so ungodly high that doctors could not believe it. As for the original point. I know what you mean; but you have to understand, this particular cosmetic preference by Vince, often sees wrestlers of better talent get shafted. It's not that a big muscular guy can't be great, it's that there's an unfair preference for them, and they get better opportunity and more frequent pushes. The system is more stacked against a small or even average sized guy. And that is where the bitterness comes in. Small guys have to work harder. And often, they get ignored only because the office has an outdated way of thinking. And quite frankly, flawed. More average-sized wrestlers on median (6'2ish, 240-250) have drawn more money than the jacked up guys Vince often knee-jerks toward. This argument worked in the 80's when everyone on the roster (or at least the title picture) seemed like a giant. Since then though it hasn't. Shawn Michaels, Bret Hart, Stone Cold, The Rock (in the 90s anyway), Chris Jericho, Chris Benoit, Eddie Guerrero, Mick Foley, Kurt Angle, Booker T, The Miz, Rey Mysterio, Edge, ADR, CM Punk, Daniel Bryan and many more are all slim-average and definitely not massive and hoss-like body types and they all won the world title and have been consistently pushed hard. WWE has known about Ryback since 2004 but only now is he finally getting a push. He went through Tough Enough, NXT, Nexus and a broken ankle before being given an opportunity to move up the card. Whereas his Tough Enough alum The Miz was shoved down people's throats since 2006, given a Wrestlemania main event and is still up there today. I'm not saying he doesn't deserve it because I'm a Miz fan but was he at an unfair disadvantage because he's not a hoss? WWE is actually very diverse with the size of people they push. There's room for giants and normal looking people like Punk, Bryan and Miz.

Why would they punish someone for accidentally injuring someone? In some cases it happens if it's a major inury to a veteran by some new kid but I like to think Kofi and Miz have a mutual respect for each other. Miz probably won't be out for long and it'll be treated as a 'these things happen' situation.

I simply don't like CM Punk because he hates people with beliefs other than his own. Seriously, the dude is a confessed bigot, why does anyone stomach him? Or do we not live in the 21st Century anymore? A bigot? How so?
