Yikes, just yikes.
With so many people behind this film you'd think at least someone involved had actually played any of the games. The Mai thing is really funny tho' you'd think they intentionally went out of their way to find an actress that was least like the actual Mai just to piss people off.
God, at least the Tekken movie tried.

Well, it's the greatest montage of all time. Was there a movie in there as well?

In a strange random note, while where I live currently the eye of the storm pretty much went over my head all I had was 12 hours of power loss. Meanwhile 900 miles away in my old home town they got hit with the worst flooding in 80odd years. I was born and raised in Waterbury Vt for anyone who knows the area.

Well that was fun.
Rain came down in buckets and the winds were 100mph but it all cleared out more or less by this morning. The crews were out all day getting power restored and I got mine back an hour ago.
It was kind of cool walking around the neighborhood after it got dark with no power tho, it never gets that dark at night around here normally due to all the lights, everything looked pretty strange.

Love this show.
I also love how they twist the stories to get the most irony out of it, or just make the victims total assholes.

Yeah it's funny, right now it's a great day out, probably start raining tomorrow and go down hill from there. Right now I'm hoping for "just" tropical storm force winds, depends on the wooble of the storm I suppose.
I haven't seen any mandatory evacuations for my county yet.

Everyone on the East Coast from North Carolina to Maine is about to get clobbered. I can't help but notice that the eye wall is going to land....oh about 10 feet from my house. Power loss and flooding ahoy!

The South winning the civil war would probably result in a North/South Korea situation only in reverse.
North USA would be the industrial rich powerhouse and the South CSA would be the barely scrapping by agricultural poorhouse.
... kind of like today actually, hmm, maybe the South really did "win".

Something more interesting would be an alt history on the US joining the Axis powers.

The Asylum could make a version called Hellrising or something and it would probably be 10x better then this.

Well, back in the day a 400lbs monster was something crazy and out of the ordinary, these days you can see 10 people of that size by going to WallMart.

Yeah, someone f***ed that movie up bad. It was never going to be a classic or anything, but you got to at least light these things correctly.
When you can't even seen stuff correctly when it's the middle of the day something is really messed up. Not to mention 3/4 of it takes place at night while raining and/or underground, yikes.

Pre-Crisis Superman is hilarious in this way.
Writers pretty much didn't want to or have the time to explain stuff so it just became a superpower just to get the story to move along. This had a real snowball effect as threats had to get bigger and bigger and thus Superman had to get bigger and bigger to overcome this stuff until the whole thing came crashing down.
Actually Dragonball Z had this exact same problem, what do you do when you've already beaten a guy that can blow up a World with a flick of his wrist?

The way the ending tied it all up just killed me, and the dry delivery of the line is hilarious.
