For reasons mostly not at all his fault (WWE desperately fawning over him to a cringeworthy degree, announcers guffawing at his every word, booking him in a way that basically screams 'the Attitude Era is incomparably better than now,' Vince thinking every top babyface has to be a clone of him) I've come to hate The Rock as a wrestling personality in the last three years, so this is about the last thing I'd want. He's bigger than the company at this point, everything grinds to a halt whenever he shows up.

Re: the Bayley stuff, it's common sense in my opinion to introduce someone as part of a storyline rather than just a few vignettes and then 'hey it's 'X' from NXT!' It only ever leads to them winning a few squash matches to confusion and apathy. See: Rose, Adam, and Paige during her first title run. People get over by interacting with other people who are over, simple. If they're talented and well-booked, they'll stay over when that association ends. It doesn't have to be AJ, sure, but if you're expecting a Diva to get over on her own with the screen time WWE gives them? Good luck with that. Everyone needs a purpose. If AJ's rise counts as getting over by association, then it definitely wouldn't be a poor reflection on her. If she added absolutely nothing to Daniel Bryan's act, no one would have cared about her. If no one dug her interactions with Punk and Kane, no one would have reacted to that story. It's not as simple as putting anyone with somebody popular and they'll be over, it's still a measure of a performer's talent whether they can hang with the established stars or not. It wouldn't make Bayley any less of a success. Unless Bayley's gonna be Lana and Rusev and get a monster push and a promo every week, it's pretty much a must. There's feuding with someone to help get someone over and then there's pairing two people together to help one of the two to get over. Bayley really doesn't need to be paired off with anyone to get over. Her character alone is going to do it for her along with proper screen time. Emma was really over with the NXT crowd as well. Just saying. And........? The key to Bayley's character is her interactions with others though, I suppose she doesn't need to be attached with anyone specific, but part of the reason everyone in NXT fell for her was because she's shown herself to be extremely good-hearted and loyal to her friends, often to her ultimate cost, so she could do with establishing an alliance or two on the main roster. It's what gave her depth beyond 'goofy girl that hugs people' and made people care about her as if she were a real person.

Yeah, well they won't be doing that. They did it for Charlotte when she had that one match against Natayla. Don't think that they're not capable of doing so for other divas. Because just bringing her up by herself will likely just turn her into another Emma. And you can't give someone vignettes unless they already have an interesting enough gimmick to draw the fans interests, and I don't think showing clips of Bayley hugging people is going to get her over. There's no shame in using other superstars/divas to get someone over. No shame at all, but does really need to attach herself to anyone to get over? Re: the Bayley stuff, it's common sense in my opinion to introduce someone as part of a storyline rather than just a few vignettes and then 'hey it's 'X' from NXT!' Layla pushed Eva hard on TV with her boot once, and it gave us this...

In terms of legit natural beauty, top 5 would go something like: Eden Alicia Naomi Paige Brie With honourable mentions for Emma, Renee and AJ. Layla's never done all that much for me for some reason, always found her and indeed most of the Divas of her generation a little too generic 'hot chick' I guess. Maryse and Lana evoke the same feeling in me, objectively they're gorgeous, but in such an archetypal way that it doesn't seem special. If you're mentioning "natural beauty" and Brie you'd have to mention Nikki as well though. Granted she's become much more shapely via unnatural means, but without that she'd still be pretty much exactly as beautiful as Brie right? Nikki's gorgeous too, obviously, but they do have slightly different facial structures and I find Brie's more appealing, though it's probably her less high-maintenance image that means she strikes me as naturally beautiful more than Nikki does. I can't help but find implants somewhat off-putting too. Nothing wrong with it, just not for me.

Typical. On Monday we'll probably hear Cole say something like: 'The Authority are callous, egotistical bullies who only care about themselves. This is disgusting! By the way folks, don't forget to check out this amazing feature on WWE.com where Triple H talks about being inducted into the prestigious International Sports Hall of Fame. Congratulations to the King of Kings!'

Rollins is the one who most has me thinking 'damn, I wish I looked like that,' so him. Balor, Neville and Tyson Kidd have a crazy amount of mass and definition for their short frames too, and somehow that's more impressive to me than guys like Reigns or Ryback.

Yeah, most of us often seem to see RAW and assume "he/she doesn't work long matches or cut promos, which means he/she CAN'T work long matches or cut promos". It's these lower shows that most can't be bothered to watch that usually has great stuff to prove otherwise. I agree but it's much less than previous years. Divas and low-card guys pretty much owned Superstars from its 2009 debut until around 2011. The match quality was insane and Gail did her absolute best work there, having an awesome match with Kelly Kelly. Yes, Kelly Kelly. But barely anyone knows. Nikki had some great matches on Superstars back then too. But she never told anyone.

It's so sad how he's still singing about being one of the baddest young brothers at the age of 42. But then, Jerry Lawler has probably called him a 'young man' on commentary at some point in the past year so you can't blame Truth for being confused. And it's sad how in general all the character depth he was given in 2011 has been gradually stripped away until he's found himself doing the exact same rap he was doing in 2008, and basically the same gimmick he was doing in 2000.

This is the same as somebody getting upset at Bret Hart, in character, calling himself 'the best there is, the best there was, and the best there ever will be' because it's insulting to every wrestler to have existed past, present and future who may be better than him. Anyone who ceased to be relevant in wrestling prior to 2000 should be barred from talking the business as it is in the modern day. They always come across as a load of bitter old carnies who just can't understand times have changed, kayfabe is dead and they don't mean shit anymore.

I've seen the Godfather, D'Lo Brown, Bob Holly, the Steiners and Vader all wrestle in the past two years. Vader was the saddest to watch, he's Khali levels of immobile yet still risks his life hitting the Vader Bomb. Despite being pretty much a non-wrestler in TNA, D'Lo is still pretty good if a little on the chubby side.

Imagine if it was revealed that Dave Meltzer's only source in the WWE nowadays was Eva Marie. Just imagine.

Objectively, Eden Sentimentally, Sasha Banks
There literally isn't a female talent currently in WWE that isn't absurdly good-looking by everyday standards though. So much natural beauty on the roster these days it's amazing.
But this poll is missing way too many people to mean anything. 'Other' is gonna win by a landslide cos it includes half the roster, including some of the main faces of the division. Although Paige is running away with it regardless, wow.

I love how much of a shadowy figure he is in spite of being such a major cog in the WWE machine and being one of the most enduring scapegoats for fan outrage. There's like four pictures of him on Google Images, three are from 'behind the scenes' features from the 80s and 90s, and even the most recent one has been knocking around for close to ten years.
The only reason I even know what his voice sounds like is Cornette's impression and that episode of NXT Season 3 that was accidentally uploaded on WWE.com with the production audio. I'd love to hear an interview with him, I'd love to know how much of what we hear from dirt sheets about his tastes and his influence is true, and I'd love to know how aware he is that thousands of people loathe him based on things other people have said he's done.

Anyone who enters in the final 5 who's never main-evented a pay-per-view, aside from Cesaro and Tyson who will be over as hell in Philly. Jinder Mahal entering at (I think) 27 in 2013 to complete silence and a palpable vibe of 'seriously, Jinder f***ing Mahal?!' was hilarious.

She's one of the less artificial-looking women on the roster in my opinion, and all the more attractive for it. Meanwhile, Stephanie and Layla's foreheads haven't moved in years and they can't smile without looking like their whole face is about to snap. Not that you can blame them, it's a tough life being a woman aged over 35 on television.

I imagine all the Divas want to be on Main Event! They will get a better payday being on Raw but it must be frustrating when they are given less than 5 minutes on Raw and SmackDown yet have to get all of their spots in. I've always thought that if I were a Diva on the main roster, I wouldn't want to be in the title picture, cos that would leave me wrestling two minutes on Raw and Smackdown with only a seven or eight minutes in the death slot at the pay-per-view to look forward to. The champion is usually considered too 'big time' for Main Event and Superstars, meaning she very rarely gets lengthy matches. Much better to be Alicia Fox or Emma than Nikki Bella or AJ Lee if you actually want chance to wrestle on weekly television. This is one of only two times they've actually let the champ show up on the C and D shows and go 10-15 like the also-rans do. Bizarre when you think about it, your match time decreases the further up the pecking order you get.
