I was around back then and the only thing I ever knew about it was reviews of games on it in Electronic Gaming Monthly magazine, but none of them ever seemed exciting enough to want a Jaguar. Even so, I never saw one in a store, but it wasn't alone, the same goes for other consoles from that era like Neo Geo, 3DO, CDi.
I knew one person that had Sega CD, but I never played it. My teacher one time had everyone to her house and her son had a TurboGrafix, which was the only time I ever saw that as a kid. But Jaguar, I remember asking some of my classmates about it, but I never knew anyone that had ever heard of it outside of myself back then.

TNA can tell stories about the Marine films around a trashcan fire. I am now picturing Abyss telling the TNA locker room the history of the Marine films a la C3PO telling the story of Star Wars to the Ewoks in Return of the Jedi.

Cesaro looks like he's holding Sheamus up with a gun. Oh that's Cesaro and Sheamus. Due to this picture I was considering starting to watch WWE again since they apparently sometime this year had Mr Wrestling #2 pull a gun on a Chicken headed snowman. Oh well, I guess I'll carry on.

I don't know if this is WWE thinking fans are stupid or them being just tone deaf, but sending old man Lawler to the ring to get the fans to c'mon and do the Fandango together because its...fun(?).

A very real billboard across from the Super Target in Woodstock, GA. Taken December 6th by me. I really want to know what people who've never watched wrestling think of this billboard. Some sort of Magic Mike/Medieval Times/Sportsbar mashup.

I actually learned that Curt Hennig was Mr. Perfect during a Lawler promo on USWA TV circa 1993 or so talking about several years prior when he won the AWA title and he said he won it from "Curt Hennig...Mr Perfect, whatever you want to call him." I thought for a long time from reading the Apter mags that there was some random guy named Curt Hennig that only wrestled on WWF shows that I wasn't watching since no one on WWF TV went by that name.

Hahaha Vince thought Mark Henry was gonna be the future of the company instead of The Rock. Even back then he was senile. Mick Foley summed that up perfectly in his first book; In which he told a story about how the merchandise department were ready to release every piece of Mark Henry merchandise under the sun. (Hats, T-Shirts, foam fingers, water bottles...you name it!) And Steve Austin asked them "where was the Stone Cold shirt?" And they replied they didn't think a Stone Cold shirt would sell nearly as well as a Mark Henry shirt. Of course we all know how that one turned out. I will say I have one friend from when we were in high school in the 90s who is the only person I personally knew then that was really into following bodybuilding/ weightlifting as in someone who followed the World's strongest man contest, and Mr. Olympia contest and stuff like that. He was not into wrestling at all, but when the WWF signed Mark Henry back in 1996 he was super stoked and wanted to start watching wrestling just for Mark Henry and wanted a Mark Henry action figure and had like a Sports Illustrated article about Mark cut out on his wall.

I realize that my viewing habits are different than the average person, but I want to watch certain movies at certain times, and streaming just doesn't fulfill that and until everything is available everywhere I will continue with physical. I can only count the number of times on one hand that me or my girlfriend have wanted to watch a specific movie that was older than 5 years old and actually found it to view on Netflix or Amazon. So my point is I sure hope physical media doesn't disappear any time soon.

I go to Thrift Stores all the time, and never find these for whatever reason. I would pick them up if I find them. I see more copies of early 2000s DVDs and, like someone else said, I see more WCW late 90s VHS than any WWF stuff.

The weirdest to me has to be Lou Thesz in Memphis in the late 70s-early 80s, and it didn't even seem like they treated him like a big deal. Just odd seeing Thesz in his 60s wrestling jobbers in the WMC Studios.

When I was a kid, there was this kid that use to wear a flame shirt like this and I wanted one too and asked my mom for it. She never got it for me, but reminds me that when I was a kid I was an idiot.
