One thing that also needs to be said, is that Vince is a hardcore gym guy. He had a full gym installed in WWE Headquarters just so he can get some lifts in at various points in the day.
Not only was he taking bumps into his 70's, he likely was lifting as well. That likely did his back no favors.
If this surgery is so life-alering, it could mean the end of his gym days. What does a gym guy do when he physically can't work out at the gym anymore?

this is the best moment of any Marvel TV show or Film for me, when its just ended and you get to go back and read all the "rumours" people have heard about the show. cracking stuff. Mephisto in WandaVision 2.0 And they will do it again with a future Marvel show. The question is, which one? "Foggy/Karen is totally showing up in Daredevil: Born Again, guys!"

The one thing I wish would end, is that feuds still drag out ENTIRELY too long in some respects I'm not talking Bloodline that's too obvious just like other feuds that either feel like they go forever or some that just stop and start and then stop and start up again like whatever the hell purgatory Bronson Reed is stuck in. It has been better though, 50/50 booking only works if they have a rubber match with higher stakes and in that era, they didn't really give a shit... Nothing will beat the "2 out of 3 falls in regular matches" era though... like what the f*** was that fever dream? The 2 out of 3 falls thing, as well as the "match reset" was a Vince thing to try to eliminate matches happening during commercial breaks. The logical thing would be to have shorter matches and possibly more of them on the show. But Vince isn't logical. So 2 out of 3 falls with a rest period during the commercial every week. Matches that devolve into chaos forcing the match to be "reset" during the commercial break and a restart when they come back, complete with bell ringing a second time. Eventually they gave up on it all and just have wrestling during commercials again.

I mean they don't give an absolute f*** in Mexico when it comes to this shit, I'm just shocked a UK Indie thought they'd get away with it lol 'tribute' shows like this used to be pretty common on the UK indie scene so in a sense Blue Kane is just carrying on a long-running tradition There's a user on this very board that was a fake AJ Lee on one of these shows.

Pillman worked for AEW. THat's basically the difference. The name. The name that they will definitely change when he gets to TV. Which, if he was hired because of his name, will now mean nothing.

This dumb motherf***er is gonna attempt to claim ownership on the letter X, isn’t he? Apple tried to own the letter i. I wouldn't Pit it past Elon to try and own the letter X.

Considering WWE did a second Rumble match just a few days later on SmackDown, I would go with acknowledging that as the true 2004 Rumble.
Eddie Guerrero, 2004 Royal Rumble winner. I like the sound of that.

Still the best TMNT show of all time. Only if you count the first 5 episodes, and completely ignore everything else. The series becomes a mixed back starting in season 2. 6 episodes a week leading to inconsistent storytelling, animation, and even voice actors. It really doesn't get consistent until they exclusively go to Saturday morning in Season 5. We don't even get to the level of storytelling and action from season 1 until we get to season 8. Honestly, over half the episodes of the OG series are just not good. Some are unwatchable due to the cheap animation studios used for most of the syndicated episdes. I'll take the 2002 and 2012 shows over the 1987 show any day.

All the eventual MJF turn will do is make me roll my eyes at the whole thing. MJF refuses to have his character evolve in any way.
You know what DID shock me? RK-Bro. It was so obvious that Orton would turn on Riddle. But he didn't. The on-screen friendship was genuine.
And that's the only thing that would shock me about MJF/Cole team. If they became true friends. No one turns. Both support each other. And MJF evolves as a character.

Serious question. Did they bring back Hit Row with the sole intention of burying them? Not long after they came back, they were turned heel. Top Dolla had his 'dive', and they've been jokes ever since. Hit Row without Swerve is nothing. HHH realized this... he was trying to get the whole group back but Swerve said no. Didn't he also talk yo Keith Lee, Miro, and Andrade as wellm But all 4 are contracted to AEW. Which is what started TK's whole "contract tampering" accusation.

There is no chance Roman loses before Wrestlemania XL. I think the question is how do they stretch it out to XLI. Which they will find a way to do, by the way. We had The Bloodline fighting together for 3 years. We can have them fighting each other for another 3.

That's a result of a confusion of characters. There's a DC character named The Joker's Daughter. Who also went by The Harlequin. Who ended up being Dula Dent, Harvey Dent's daugher. To this day, the two characters similar names get confused. And I always heard it was Madonna that was supposed to play Harley/Joker's Daughter in the film. Which makes Lady Gaga plating her in The Joker sequel even funnier with how often those two gets compared. No its not confusion. Before Batman and Robin came out Wizard Magazine had an article about it with a section about the planned 5th movie. According to their "insider info" the villains would be Scarecrow and Harley Quinn. Harley would be Jokers daughter who Scarecrow drove insane. Jack Nicholson was said to be interested in playing Joker in the nightmare sequences. Rumored casting was Howard Stern and Jenny McCarthy. Since its Wizard it could have been all bullshit, idle speculation or spitballing on set, or actual insider talk. But no, no confusion with Duela Dent. That's what I mean. Someone at Warner didn't know Joker's Daughter and Harley Quinn were two different characters and just merged them together.

If only we could get DC Animated to dig up the Batman Triumphant/Unchained/Whatever script and make an animated movie out of it! Wasnt Harley going to be Jokers daughter (played by Jenny McCarthy)? Thats one way to make Harley and Jokers relationship creepier. Make it about daddy issues. That's a result of a confusion of characters. There's a DC character named The Joker's Daughter. Who also went by The Harlequin. Who ended up being Dula Dent, Harvey Dent's daugher. To this day, the two characters similar names get confused. The Majin symbol disappeared after Shayna turned. Don't know if that was intentional or not.

I was considering watching this, but honestly--other than Nick Fury, I've never heard of most of the characters. And I am somewhat familiar with Marvel comics, although admittedly quit reading regularly partway through the initial secret invasion story. Gravik, Pagon, Talos -- who the f*** are these schmucks? If only there was something that tells you who these characters are? Oh, wait. There is.

I think Kenny said something along the lines of they wanted to keep him in if possible because he was important to the early days of the company. Still its weird they could retain the rights for this long. I mean it was jarring to see Bret Hart in Warzone despite it being 9 months after he left too. I mean the circumstances are different. It was a very interesting 3 year cycle. Bret and Bulldog are in Warzone. They leave and join WCW just in time to be put in Revenge. Jericho is in Revenge. He leaves and joins WWE just in time to be in WrestleMania 2000. Then Bulldog, as well as The Radicalz, who were all in Revenge, jump ship to WWE just in time to be in No Mercy.

I'd have kept the case on Kennedy in 2007. Hindsight I know but his injury ended up being fairly minor and he was only out a couple months so he didn't really have to drop it. You're forgetting that Undertaker was also injured and was World Champion. They needed to get the belt off him immediately. That was supposed to be Kennedy's moment, but he was also hurt. The switch only happens to have Edge beat Taker. Who takes the belt off Taker if they let Kennedy keep the case?

It only beat the Jennifer Lawrence sex romp (which did a bit better than expected) by like $200,000. This is truly a bomb for the ages. I always wonder why movies like that do so poorly now, I grew up in an era where American Pie did very well at the box office and now any type of sex comedy makes no money. R-rated movies, in general, don't make the money they used to. R-rated movies used to be the attraction for the teenage audience. Now, theaters have cracked down on that after far to many parents complained about their babies sneaking into them. Which is why many studios moved to PG-13 for comedies and horror films. You lose the raunchyness and gore, but you gain the teenage audience. The adult audience is just as unlikely to go see an R-rated movie in theaters as well. Especially a sex comedy. Why would one pay to see boobs in a theater, when one can see boobs on their phone for free?

It's only recently that I learned that Lisa is referred to as "My/your future wife" and nit "Fiance" because Tommy Wiseau hates the French language with a passion.
