The answer begins and ends with the Screwjob. I don't really see how any of the others could compare

WCW in its entirety from 1999-2000 was a break of kayfabe. The stupid Powers that Be angle, the Riggs/Bagwell segment, Russo shooting on Flair and Hogan. All garbage.

How about Vince and Stephanie calling the Undertaker "Mark" during the Ministry of Darkness deal?

4 pages and no mention of Pillman? I thought about it, but a lot of his stuff was not as blatant where everyone would know he was breaking kayfabe. Case in point, typical fans had no idea what he meant by calling Sullivan "Bookerman." They likely thought he was just playing a psycho going off the deep end.

I think you're mixing your Von Erichs up. Kevin was real(he's the one surviving member of the family, as well). I think you meant Lance, the Von Erich's "cousin". No, I'm not mixing them up. I just used Lance's real name, like Fritz did when he gave that promo. That's why it was breaking kayfabe. Fritz said Vaughn had no relation to the Von Erichs and how they will never be associated with him again and how Fritz never wants to mention the guy anymore. That was big time breaking of kayfabe back then. It's 'Ricky' Vaughn, not Kevin Vaughn

It's 'Ricky' Vaughn, not Kevin Vaughn Ricky Vaughn was a name he used early in his career, but Ricky wasn't his real name. Kevin is his middle name, but I assumed he went by Kevin due to Gary Hart calling him 'Kevin Vaughn' in a shoot interview.

How's about all those WCW Saturday Night tapings where guys would have title belts MONTHS before they actually won them?

I don't think the Montreal Screwjob ranks up there because it can be explained away with kayfabe. I don't think that they have ever on WWE programming flat out said that Bret was supposed to win the match but they changed the finish on him. Rather they explain it as Vince McMahon being and evil bastard and calling for the bell.

Would it be Vince stopping everything when Benoit died? Perhaps one of the shoot interviews? Which one was the most blatant and biggest to you. Had to be Benoit dying and Vince being on tv for me. I mean, not that he didn't do the right thing but it killed off a gigantic storyline. He basically stood there and told me wrestling was fake (Not that he had to say it to me but you get the idea) Personally, I think the idiotic McMahon death storyline itself was breaking kayfabe and just making wrestling look like an even bigger joke than Vince portrays it anyway. Only a complete moron would have bought that angle to begin with.

How's about all those WCW Saturday Night tapings where guys would have title belts MONTHS before they actually won them? To be fair, the WWF did this too. As well as WWF Magazine talking about WWF Champion Randy Savage, before WrestleMania IV. Also, the Save US reveal being spoiled by WWF Magazine would be breaking of kayfabe.
