Would it be Vince stopping everything when Benoit died?
Perhaps one of the shoot interviews?
Which one was the most blatant and biggest to you.
Had to be Benoit dying and Vince being on tv for me. I mean, not that he didn't do the right thing but it killed off a gigantic storyline. He basically stood there and told me wrestling was fake (Not that he had to say it to me but you get the idea)

Vince coming back from the dead to address the Benoit murders has got to be it. Now if we are counting WCW then the "Powers That Be" storyline has to be a contender.

To me "breaking kayfabe" doesn't include death or serious injury, for obvious reasons. I'd go with the MSG Incident.

In professional wrestling, kayfabe refers to the portrayal of events within the industry as real, that is, the portrayal of professional wrestling as unstaged or worked. He stood there and told us pro wrestling wasn't real........ He did break kayfabe

Vince covered it by saying that he faked it all along though.

Iron Sheik and Jim Duggan getting caught with drugs when they were actually feuding on-screen. Maybe not the biggest, but one of the first.

HHH being shown on WWE.com as the father of Steph's baby is a big 'un, IMO.

HHH being shown on WWE.com as the father of Steph's baby is a big 'un, IMO. Can't Steph and HHH be together in the kayfabe world? I thought it was hinted that they were together kayfabe wise. There was that moment with the illigitimate son reveal, when it looks as though HHH is the son Vince looks at HHH and goes 'but that means you and...' and HHH says he doesn't like it either. And then the 'I would pedigree my own father in law.' and Regal's look after it.

Vince saying he owned the WWE has to be one.
Everyone just knew him as a backstage announcer and a commantator before then.
Unless I have things wrong.

How about Tony Schivone and the announce team chastising Goldberg for not going along with the planned finish. I know, worked shoot, but still a pretty stupid breach of kayfabe for the purpose of an equally idiotic storyline.

The key word there was hinted. Only very subtle hints that smart fans could get were ever dropped. I think that was hinting at HHH and Steph were married kayfabe wise at one point. Nothing too shifty there. And the pedigree one was again just another case of Trips catering to the smark fans.

I don't mean to be a prick or demeaning or anything
But all of these are really on a small scale....
Just saying. I know all of these breach kayfabe but what would be the largest? (Again, not trying to step on any toes)
