Not really. I mean I watched the Ladder Match DVD and a couple of his are on there that I like but, I don't enjoy them as much as I used to. Its hard to explain but, when watching, I can help but think of the way his life ended and it ruins my enjoyment.

Some of his stuff I can, for instance his ECW/WCW stuff seems to be the easiest to digest, because I was a WCW fan. His WWF stuff I can watch, up to about his title win at Wrestlemania XX, but that's where it ends.

I was lucky enough to meet Chris Benoit when he came into the gas station I was employed at after a show in Grand Rapids Mi. I actually got to speak to him for a few minutes and he was such a nice person. It hit me hard when I found out he passed and even harder when information started to surface about cause of death and about his family. But since I have watched the Hard Knocks Chris Benoit Story DVD and I enjoyed every minute, though I felt sad as the DVD wound down. The word tragedy is thrown around a lot but what happened to Chris Benoit and his family was exactly that. I just try and keep in mind that some thing very wrong must have happened to Chris to cause him to take such actions. Weather it be Demon possession, Steroids, or Brain Damage we may never know... personally I think they are all good theories. All I can do is try and remember him as the person I was privileged to meet, one of the best technical wrestlers of all time.

I think the fact that he's gone has kinda made me appreciate him more. I was watching a Raw from 2000 the other day and found a pretty good promo of his that I totally forgot about.
Maybe this makes me a really bad person for saying this but what he did was awful but in the end it really didn't impact my personal life so no I'm not wierded out watching any of his work.

I mean, I doubt he was some killer in waiting all life. If you'd have said to him some time before what he would go on to do, he'd have probably been horrified. At the end, I think he was just weak more than anything else.

Don't know. Haven't tried. I suppose nothing changes anything. His matches were his matches and he did what he did. If he hadn't chosen to end himself, I don't think I could watch any future matches he might have. (good luck getting work then)

www.youtube.com/watch?v=S888tbBWV2M&feature=relatedI just found this on YouTube and thought it was an interesting watch. It's an interview Chris Benoit did on TSN in Canada where he talks about Substance Abuse in Professional Wrestling. He also talks greatly about Eddie, and how he cared for him. ~Kyle

Hell no.
The memories of Benoit matches are already etched in my mind. I don't think i really have the nerve to watch them over and over again.
I still own the DVD, but i don't watch it.
I have the ladder match DVD and skip his matches.
See my thing is I already watched those matches, and I want to remember them for how good they are.
I just can't ever stomach watching him wrestle again. I'm sorry 2 brutal murders, he killed his family, and he was one of my favorite wrestlers.
It's just way too much, I don't respect him anymore, and I can't watch it.
Sorry child killers don't make it into my daily viewing, unless it's a documentary about how they killed.

The fact that he tied Nancy up before hand was the most cold blooded thing about it. When I think of how that woman must have suffered in her last few moments..it's really horrible. Maybe if he'd flipped out, hit her and she'd hit her head or something it would be easier to understand.
I know killing Daniel has somehow been considered the worst thing at all, but I think killing Nancy in such a violent manner was way worse. At least Daniel was drugged.

There was an extension chord, a pillow case wrapped around her, and blood everywhere.
I don't know the guy worked a bloody/brutal/violent profession the way he ended his, his wife's, and his son's life so violently.
i can't watch him and his toothless aggression.
Tasteless Benoit jokes about hanging out with Mike Awesome sure...anything honoring him? hell no.

That was something Meltzer mentioned: the way he died, it was like he deliberately wanted to suffer.

I have absolutely no desire to. It's like watching clips of OJ playing football. Sure he was one of the best but I get absolutely no joy in seeing him do his stuff on the football field. Although, I do enjoy him always getting humiliated in the Naked Gun series of films.
