Maybe to you, and just because it had a purpose doesn't mean the match won't suck. If the same card was Wrestlemainia every one would say it was the best wm in years I doubt that seriously, as I'm quite certain the majority would probably say something about the main event ending with a very predictable run-in at their biggest PPV. Plus, it's subjective, you may have thought the TNA PPV was great and that's fine, but someone else may not have shared the same opinion and thought it sucked. Can't do anything about that.

In 2005, he was the top face on SD against JBL, so he had to win the WWE title, a bit predictable but made sense. In 2006, a lot of people were predicting HHH to beat Cena and were definitely surprised by the outcome. In 2007, many thought this was the perfect opportunity to have Shawn Michaels beat Cena, and thought he would get it from him at Mania, but Cena won it. A great deal less predictable than every single TNA PPV main event this year ending with a run-in/clusterf*** finish.

Lol the face always wins WM Well, Trips nixed that theory in 2000 which is why many thought he'd get it at Mania last year. And in this year's event, Shawn and Cena were both faces, so it was a toss-up, though you may not have liked it.

This thread is stupid. Hard Justice was nowhere near the worst show of all time. There are far too many whiny jerks on the internet. That's your opinion, someone else obviously thinks differently though you may not necessarily agree or like it. And flaming doesn't get your point across either. It's the fact that every other minute someone has to start a new thread explaining that TNA sucks. It gets old. I have no problem with other people's opinion, but when it's constantly shoved down other's throats and presented as fact, it gets annoying. Also, people overreact to TNA. Hard Justice had plenty of good matches, and was not the worst show ever. XXX vs MCMG vs Dutt /Lethal, Steiners vs 3D, Kaz vs Raven, and Joe vs Angle were all at least good and keep it from being anywhere near the worst. People act like TNA kicked their puppies. TNA hates Samoa Joe! (except he's been in 6 main events out of 8 this year) I want Jay Lethal to win a match! (except against Daniels) LAX always gets buried! (except those 7 months that they held the titles) TNA homegrown stars never win against former WWE guys! (except Kaz, Storm, Harris, LAX, and Abyss all winning their matches at Hard Justice) It's knee jerk overreacting at its worst.

Damn. Was Hard Justice really that bad? I mean, there's always an obligatory "Boo TNA!" thread after all of their PPVs, but it seems like this one really burned a lot of people?

Frankly, I don't think that many people on the board even saw it; most of the ones who did actually responded to some threads with some positive reviews. That said, just reading through the results, I don't feel too good about it. Like I said in other threads, the last PPV, in July, was actually a lot of fun, one of the better ones I've seen in a long time, and the Impacts leading up to it were solid, as well...and then it just felt like the wheels came off this month.

The abyss match was pretty good too I'm glad someone liked it. The whole thing was a cluster to me. Although, as usual, AJ stole the match. Of course, he didn't have to work that hard this time...

Damn. Was Hard Justice really that bad? I mean, there's always an obligatory "Boo TNA!" thread after all of their PPVs, but it seems like this one really burned a lot of people? The finish of the main event spoiled the entire night. There was some good wrestling. Most of the right people won: LAX, Kaz, Lethal and the Steiners. If Samoa Joe had kicked out after the chair shot, gotten up, headbutted Angle and locked in the Kokina clutch to win the TNA World Title -- EVERYONE would have given the show the thumbs up. Celebrating Joe's win would have made us forget for a moment to forget that all the belts are on one guy. I also agree that MANY of the people complaining did not watch the show. Lockdown 07 was an awesome PPV that I didn't regret ordering. But it had two trainwreck matches -- a blindfold match and a "electified" cage. That was all anyone could talk about afterwards. People who hadn't seen the show were telling me it was the worst PPV of the year. It wasn't. Since any Dudley match is going to suck anyway, the blindfold match was the only example of a gimmick ruining what would have been a good match. And Cowboy and Wildcat made up for it next month.
