Endings affect the way we see the show. Remember New Years Revolution from a year or 2 ago? COMPLETE Crap show, but the reason people liked it was cause Edge ran in, cashed in his MitB shot, beat John Cena, and won the WWE title. Only reason.......

Damn. Was Hard Justice really that bad? I mean, there's always an obligatory "Boo TNA!" thread after all of their PPVs, but it seems like this one really burned a lot of people? The finish of the main event spoiled the entire night. There was some good wrestling. Most of the right people won: LAX, Kaz, Lethal and the Steiners. If Samoa Joe had kicked out after the chair shot, gotten up, headbutted Angle and locked in the Kokina clutch to win the TNA World Title -- EVERYONE would have given the show the thumbs up. Celebrating Joe's win would have made us forget for a moment to forget that all the belts are on one guy. I also agree that MANY of the people complaining did not watch the show. Lockdown 07 was an awesome PPV that I didn't regret ordering. But it had two trainwreck matches -- a blindfold match and a "electified" cage. That was all anyone could talk about afterwards. People who hadn't seen the show were telling me it was the worst PPV of the year. It wasn't. Since any Dudley match is going to suck anyway, the blindfold match was the only example of a gimmick ruining what would have been a good match. And Cowboy and Wildcat made up for it next month. I saw highlights of the Angle/Joe match. From what I saw, tt was just a bad match. Nevermind who won or lost. It was just terrible. And I would still say that even if Joe won (even if most others didn't). Didn't see the rest, though. So I can't comment. Although VKM ever beating anyone in any fashion is never good.

Both Hard Justice and December 2 Dismember don't even come close to WCW Uncensored 2000 in crappiness. At least HJ and D2D both had at least one good match.

I ordered the PPV and while it wasn't the worst ever, the main event was bad,IMO as they were concentrating far too much on Karen/Guest at ringside and not the match for all the belts.

and cena overcoming the odds 3 years in a row isnt predictable? Nope, not at all. In 2005, he was the top face on SD against JBL, so he had to win the WWE title, a bit predictable but made sense. In 2006, a lot of people were predicting HHH to beat Cena and were definitely surprised by the outcome. In 2007, many thought this was the perfect opportunity to have Shawn Michaels beat Cena, and thought he would get it from him at Mania, but Cena won it. A great deal less predictable than every single TNA PPV main event this year ending with a run-in/clusterf*** finish. Cena overcoming the odds forever is tiresome, not necessarily predictable.

Maybe it is, but he's their top face so it makes sense. Having screwy/run-in finishes for nearly every single PPV main event, not so much.

Don't even put this in the same category as King of the Ring 95 or December to Dismember.
the Elimination Chamber at D2D crapped all over the entire PPV
The HBK/Kama match from KOTR 95 did the same.
Hard justice was so hard to sit through, I was rolling my eyes and complaining every 2 minutes. It was painful.

I think everyone's missing the point
Look at the thread title again. "Worst professional wrestling TELECAST"
that doesn't just include PPVs then, which means that there are literally an ENDLESS number of telecasts that were in fact worse than Hard Justice

That's what I'm saying lildude
I can't recall a Monday Night Raw or even a WCW Thunder that was worse.

Oh I did.
People were saying the opening match with Sonjay Dutt and all those other jabronies was match of the night, all I saw was a clustersmurf of epic proportions.
Zero psychology. ZERO. I mean I can take a little breaking of the old psychology here and there. Nothing wrong with that. But the ENTIRE MATCH lacked psychology. I think TNA fans just called it MOTN for damage control

Well that still doesn't address Heroes of Wrestling. If you can find it somewhere, I'd seriously suggest watching.
Hard Justice will look like a Best of WrestleMania DVD.

I'll agree that Hard Justice is the worst PPV name ever, but it can't be worse than WCW's PPVs from 2000.

I'll agree that Hard Justice is the worst PPV name ever, but it can't be worse than WCW's PPVs from 2000. Like I said at least those PPV's had glimpses of greatness. This Hard Justice PPV should have just been called Hard To Watch 2007
