Thanks guys, it's looking like that's what I'm going to have to do. The Steiners are being wasted, stuck in a feud that can't end naturally for 5 months, and I have the Malenkos and the MVC waiting in the wings.
I just hope Arn doesn't lose too much heat.

What would you guys say is a good public image/fan attendance/monthly earnings to achieve before one would begin promoting Pay Per View events?

March 07 is in the books. $4.1 million in profits. No new TV shows or anything. rose a smidge in PI. A brief feud with AAA kinda gave me a hit. But they fell, so its all good in the hood.

Yeah,
Chikara ist currently (as of January 2009) the number two promotion, having surpassed TNA and agressively attacking WWE in their status.
I ROCK !

What would you guys say is a good public image/fan attendance/monthly earnings to achieve before one would begin promoting Pay Per View events? I ran a PPV my first month of 2008 after going National. Was around 13% PI. Got a .44 buyrate. Decent ... not great. Best suggestion would be to try one and see if it's profitable. If it isn't, you can go back to doing large events at no risk/damage. Jed Shaffer ~To help stick it to AAA ... raise your production value higher then theirs. That'll get you extra PI with the fans.

I have learned a hard lesson is open contracts. TNA just went global and i had Christopher Daniels, RAven, Rhino and whole bunch of people and now they all signed written contracts with TNA.
DAMN!

man, companies are going out of business like its going out of style. In 7 months, 12 companies have gone out of business, with only 1 new company starting, despite Sophie saying the market is "strong"

Just started a new WWE game with the newest ToTheEdge data and done a week so far. Unforgiven is coming up soon and heres what I'm planning to do: CRUSIERWEIGHT BATTLE ROYAL DREAMING BALLS VS THE ALPHA EXPRESS (HARDCORE) LONDRICK VS WGTT KENNEDY VS UMAGA MVP VS FINLAY MYSTERIO VS CHAVO (CAGE) PUNK VS MORRISON(LADDER) TAKER VS EDGE CENA VS ORTON Hope it actually good and no one gets injured, seriously in just one week Jillian Hall is out for 16 months( ), Heyman broke his hand for a month (guess those phones/bricks have finally taken it's toll on him) and one Highlander is out for 7 months (eh). Guess it could be worse. Oh yeah, considering giving a Khali a Ninja gimmick. Should be fun.

Either way that's the greatest tag team name ever...

I just got my first 5* match in my current game. A match I wasn't expecting, either. Kevin Steen vs. Jimmy Jacobs.
These are how the final 4 matches on my last TV went(these are full ratings, with crowd reaction factored in).
Second City Saints vs. Briscoes-95% Danielson vs. Strong-90% Kevin Steen vs. Jimmy Jacobs-96% Castagnoli vs. Romero-97%

Just got done with April, my 8th month. AAA, my biggest rival, got another new show, meaning they have 3 shows to my one show. But they also have a lot of open contracts, so it might hurt them.
I made $3.7 mil last month, bringing my total up to $18.9 mil. I also gained another few points in PI, but this war with AAA really isn't helping.
I've made 59% in 8 months(again, would be higher if it wasn't for AAA), and have made $16,148,340 profit. So thats an average of 7.375% PI and $2,018,542.50 a month.

just counted AAA's roster. 40 workers, and only 3 have written deals, one if which is retiring in a month. Normally, not a big deal, but when you are running 13 events at the very LEAST a month, it can hurt. I have a feeling I might be having the chance to buy them out within the next 4 months, if this continues.

Now Vader complains that Rick Steiner was working too stiffly?
Something's very, very wrong.

Steen and Jacobs put up another 5 star match, but for some reason, Scott Keith took a huge dump all over my show. Despite having both match quality and crowd reaction in the 90's for my final 4 matches, he gave them overall ratings in the 80's.
